My best guide
This book is helping me to clear the clutter in my mind and in my home. I use it as a handy guide to see where I'm going right, as well as what I really need to be putting effort into. The writing style has a good flow, it's easy to read, and acts as a good reference book. I don't think I could have done without it. It's exactly what I was looking for when I searched through Amazon for such a book. Thanks!

Alright not great
As a chaotic single, full time working mother of one I thought this book may point me in the right direction. There are some good ideas but sadly it is aimed at 'moms' with someone. If you have an agreeable partner I am sure this would be a useful tool, but to be honest Anthea's perfect housewife was more in keeping with my life, although I am now the proud owner of an organiser, this has proved invaluable, simple but effective!

Good ideas
Good ideas and straightforward tips on how to organise a busy mummy lifestyle. The 'organize your home' was the most helpful section for me as it breaks down into easy steps what to do as quick as you can,

not as good as I'd hoped...
Some great ideas but still took alot of getting through and didn't cut big jobs into small non panic making sections.great sections on holiday organisation etc which will be useful in the future though!also - issue that this is distinctly for the US market so take note of the differences...

an unbeatable organization manual for busy moms
This is a terrific organizing manual filled with sound advice and fresh ideas. Debbie divides the book into three sections: organizing your time, your belongings, and your home. I loved the section on using a daily planner with two pages per day. I hadn't thought of that for a stay-at-home mom but with all my responsibilities it makes good sense. Have you heard the expression, "Your house is your larger self" ? This book will help busy moms to clear up, organize, and plan their time effectively. Debbie Lillard ranks right up there with Bonnie Runyan McCullough (Bonnie's Household Organizer), Deniece Schofield (Confessions of an Organized Housewife), Pam Young and Peggy Jones (Sidetracked Home Executives). The book is published in 2008 so it's up-to-date. A very enjoyable read and a worthwhile investment of your time and money.

Don't Waste Another Day-Read this Book Today
I can just see Oprah visiting Debbie Lillard's home to see her in action!(Does she really practice what she preaches, we all wonder)Thank you for writing this book! As a new Mom and business owner who works out of my home, my time is more valuable (and scarce) then ever before. Debbie Lillard's great new book is a mandatory read, like Jeff Olson's The Slight Edge or Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad, Poor Dad or Napolean Hill's Think and Grow Rich. Why? It has some of the most practical, useful tips in having a successful life, which of course, all starts at HOME! I wish my Mom of six had this back in the 70s! It would have made her life much easier. You might imagine a book on organizing to be, well, dry, boring or condescending...but Debbie Lillard's words are compassionate and inspiring - part instructor, part therapist, part cheerleader and ALL MOM. She's pulled great quotes from some of the world's great thinkers which set a strong context for the "why" behind being "absolutely organized."The book rests next to my combination diaper bag/backpack purse on my desk, next to the baby carriage...This will be a great reference tool for time to come. Not everyone can hire a personal organizer. This is the next best thing! I second Jeanne - already bought 6 copies for family stocking stuffers and will buy many more. Congratulations Debbie. This book will make a profound difference for anyone - not just Moms!

Great for Mothers with older children only!
I thought I was going to love this book, going from fulltime working mother to fulltime stay-at-home mother. And, to its credit, the book does have some good pointers. It tells you how to keep a calendar (or two) and how to plan meals and declutter, etc... So that's what the book gets the three stars for.But the household chores would absolutely NOT work for a mother like me with 5 children, 3 whom are too young to be expected to put their own clothes away or even separate their own laundry in the basket. Anyone who has an infant (and 6 other people in one house) knows that you can't do laundry only once per week unless you want mounds and mounds of laundry piled up that cannot possibly all be done in one day!Bottom line: The book would be much more valuable to smaller families with only one or two children, preferably those children being older.

One of best organizers for moms.
I am glad i purchased this product, since i am a mom and i needed help with ideas hoe to get myself and living space organizes. It really gives great examples for families who own a home, so each room and space has a purpose, but if you have an apartment than you can use imagination based on her ideas how to get yourself. since i put to use some of her ideas it does make things easier to find and put back into ice place. I would recommend this book as starter book of ideas for organizing a home. And you can built form there your own idea. I read it already and enjoyed it and i am sure i will reread it at least few more time.
