I needed an awning this size to help protect a window where I've installed an air conditioner. The only nice thing I can say about it is that it's the right size. The design, however, is ridiculous. It's a piece of plexiglass that's press fit into two channels which in turn are held in place by the side brackets. Simple to assemble, but impossible to actually put together because there's no way to secure the halves together mechanically so it falls apart under it's own weight. They included two small screws which I assume are supposed to do that at the ends, but there's no whole and nothing to screw them into. I solved that problem (mostly) with epoxy. The second major issue is that unlike the image here there is one very large hole in the middle of the bracket, not two smaller ones on top and bottom, so it doesn't secure well to the wall at all. When everything is designed to be held together with pressure, you need at least two points to secure it to the wall so that it can't twist under heavy rain, snow, or hail. The brackets are not fully painted either, though they appear to be aluminum so hopefully they won't rust and I touched them up with spray paint. The included hardware is garbage too, and overall the unit is not worth a quarter of what I paid for it. I will never buy from them again.

My first purchase was 40”. We had a hail storm come through and it cracked the plastic panels. So I replaced with wider one. I love the look, easy to install and great price.
