These do not appear to be polarized, but do enhance contrast.

I bought these as I have trouble with glare from headlights at night and during the day from sunlight off windows and chrome as well as automatic headlight. These help tremendously. I also found they help when I am on the computer as I had trouble with what seemed a bit like pre migraine flashes, tiny electric like flashes. I came home the first night after wearing them and forgot i had them on. No problem with those flashes on the screen nor since then as I have continued to wear them.

These glasses are NOT Polarized. The small test card included with the glasses is supposed to demonstrate how wearing the glasses enables you to see an image that is not visible when you view the test card without the glasses. NOTHING changes when you look at the test card with the glasses on. I can see the image when I look at it with my own Polarized Sun Glasses so I know the test card is legitimate.Except for making everything look "yellowish" I did not experience any noticeable reduction in the glare from oncoming headlights

These clip-on glasses reduce the glare from all light sources, especially the newer head lights and rain. They make night driving much more comfortable.

this model does take some of the sting out of the newer super bright halogen headlights.

Like: Light weight and fit my glasses well. They passed the polarized test using a computer screen (Google it)Dislike: Made oncoming headlights flare even more. Did not brighten night driving as other yellow glasses I had did. Saw little difference except everything was a slight yellow color.

I used it for nighttime driving and it helps with the glare
