Twin Pack 7w (watt) PLS Replacement UV Bulb Lamp for Pond Filter UVC

The UV bulb in my pond filter had given up over winter and I knew that the dreaded blanket weed would soon start to show itself as the water warms. When I saw the price of the Branded bulbs I got a bit of a shock at how expensive they were. I looked around for a better price and stumbled across these bulbs in a twin pack for a lot less money that the branded single bulbs. The reviews looked good so I took a punt. The bulbs arrived safely and were a doddle to replace. Now my pond has that little bit of extra protection of a functioning UV bulb and hopefully it will last through until next winter. Either way, I still have the 2nd bulb in the pack as a spare, just in case of a failure. Very happy with my purchase. Highly recommended!

I had a failed Philips 7W PLS UVC lamp within my pond filter, that lamp had lasted about 9 months with continuous use. Needing a replacement I examined the details for many compatible 7W PLS UVC lamps as a replacement and chose this twin pack as it appeared to represent good value and there was a clear indication of UVC output obviously critical for a pond clearing application. I've now set the pond filter on a timer overnight for about 6 hours and that's proving to be adequate to keep the pond clear. Longevity of the lamp will only be known with time but no complaints so far.

Good product and great value

I checked the lamps were operational when I received them, because my previous experience with a replacement lamp was not so good. I waited until I needed to replace it and it failed when the electricity was connected. That was a different company, so this time I am happy to report total success.
