Heavy duty.
Never used a steel plate before. Tried a couple of nice fillets and worked out great cooking directly on plate.

Will last forever and easy to clean
I own two of these plates. I originally bought one with the Blaze Kamado and has used it for both a heat deflector and sear plate for steaks. The plate is obviously easy to clean, and a solid piece. I purchased another mainly because I wanted to use one as a heat deflector and the other as a pizza "stone" at the same time. I have not tried this yet, but plan to today (I will update with results). The cooking plate may be a bit pricey, but it's 1/4" stainless steel and will last forever (just like the Blaze Kamado will last forever). Overall, I am quite pleased.
