Love these lights
I have been using these in studio and on location for some time now. The batteries have excellent life, both flash heads are plenty bright, and the accessories seem to be great quality. These were the perfect addition to my Godox speed light kit that included the Godox X1T-N. The range is amazing and the iTTL works perfectly. The other fantastic part of this kit is that each flash comes in a nice hard case. I transport them in the side case of my motorcycle whenever I shoot on location and have never had an issue.

Such a great way to start out!
Since leaving Nikon and going Fuji, I needed a new lighting set-up. Heard great things about the 200's and knew I'd want at least two to start with. Found this kit and it just made sense. Even more so since Adorama had a new trigger the R2 made. So I picked up this kit and that trigger and I'm delighted that it all just works so well! The kit comes with quite a lot! Mine is missing some of the gels but I still got quite a lot in this kit. So far in my use I've only gone up to 1/64th power. I'm really happy with the power out of these things compared to the Nikon system I was using before.

Good gear!
Haven’t tested it enough for an accurate review.

Excellent kit for using two AD200s
This two-unit kit is a good collection of the AD200s and accessories one like me needed to build a more comprehensive, yet simple, overall lighting kit. I previously purchased one AD200 and realized having two more units will allow even more lighting options. Great kit.Just a note: The silicone (rubberized) covers that come with the AD200s fit perfectly. However, the covers attract so much static that there's a constant layer of lint, dust, and fuzz stuck to them. Hmm, I wonder if I wipe them with fabric softener dryer sheets if this might tame the cling?

Solidly built, easy to use.
I got the two pack and each flash is not the same brightness on the same settings. I have to put them on different groups and one is about 2/3rds more power setting to be equal. The outside case/protector is a complete waste of time. It makes the ability to get the heads and batteries changed out difficult. It also will not fit very far into the "S" mount to adapt to a bowens mount. It did not feel secure and the flash head did not extend into the modifier enough, so I removed it right away and threw it away.

Flashes have come a long way, these will change your life!
Great small light, I could see using these in a studio setting for a group up to 5 or so. From a pro photographer standpoint that is saying something for such a small light. They have plenty of power for real estate, small studio work and boats. If you need to overpower the sun then you need to go ahead and get the ad600. You can combine these to make a 400 but on the job I don’t have the time to transform the lights into one, so I haven’t tested the unit to combine them. For real estate these can do a lot under covered porches and in homes to balance the outside. For boats it’s the best for compact flash. I am reviewing these as bare bulb, I haven’t had an interest in using the flash head even though it’s so tempting with it’s various adapters. It’s really great to have a studio quality light that you can hold in your hand, battery and all. Battery life is great, they last though about 800 half power average flashes in a days work , I highly recommend !

Great lights that are so portable
I have been wanting to build a new kit with portability in mind. On camera flashes with the right gear can be used off camera on light stands, but they typically lack enough power. The eVOLV 200's solve this problem with enough power and battery charge to last for lengthy photo shoots. The kit comes with Adorama's branded eVOLV Twin Head (AD-B2) with lots of extra's. The kit is worth getting if you need two eVOLV 200's because buying everything separately would cost a bit more. Being able to use TTL is also a nice feature that I honestly didn't think I would miss until I used it for a quick lighting setup. Quick and easy. Happy with the kit and lights so far.
