Great gift idea for the holiday babies, a fresh and interesting way to engage a child's mind (plus, it made me hungry!)

These are absolutely beautiful and very high quality. The card stock used is thick and slightly glossy. I would absolutely recommend this as an add-on to a baby shower gift basket because the cards and the presentation box they come in are stylish and elegant. My three month old baby found them interesting so that was great too!

I love food. My family loves food. We watch so many cooking shows that my five-year-old was at school bragging that mom made Beef Wellington for Thanksgiving, then explained how to make it to a friend of the family that works at the school. So when I saw these, I figured they would be a great addition to my newborn's Easter basket. They're a nice thickness, very large, and the printing is quality. The designs are very cute, and it's fun watching the older kids play with their baby brother. I just wish there were more cards.

The flash cards are a good find for new babies. I often wonder whatgoes through the minds of a baby as they lie their doing nothing butlooking around and being a baby. Okay that sounds weird, but theycannot do anything but stay where they are placed and cry if they arenot happy about it. I understand that babies only see black and whiteso these cards were the perfect thing for my new God son. At first, Iwasn’t sure how to interact with him and the cards so I would justhold them up before him and say the item on the card and its phrase,and wave it at him. Now as time passes, he swats at the card and Ibelieve that’s his way of interacting with the cards. They are madeout of sturdy card stock, and cannot bend easy or anything like that.They are about the size of a CD case so large enough to hold withoutcovering up the picture. I believe they will stand up against a fewbaby attacks before they begin to show their age. The storage box isan added bonus to the baby cards; it allows them to be placed in a bagand taken along without any concerns of them being missplaced oranything like that.

Truth be told I bought these as sort of a joke for my foodie daughter and her new baby. Little did I know that they would be a hit and actually incredibly useful. Everything is high-quality, including the construction and the printing. She really enjoyed the cards and thought they were very cute but also a clever way to engage the newborn. The cards are double sided so the baby gets one side with a simple large b& w image of garlic or asparagus, or example, and then on the other side, there’s a black-and-white simple pattern of the same gourmet food item. these cards are definitely a win for anyone Who loves good design. They are proof that things that are good for your newborn Don’t just have to be silly and hokey, but can actually be clever, and dare I say sophisticated.

This is definitely for that super chi-chi discerning parent who likes to flaunt their well-fed and well-bred status with toddler flashcards that showcase gourmet eats for their growing baby. The quality of the cards is great for gifting and it could make a super funny gag gift but way too pretentious for most new parents.

These high contrast cards are not only great for newborn/infant brain development, but they are also unique and aesthetically pleasing. The cards included are anchovy, asparagus, clementine, croissant, garlic, olive, oyster, pistachio, pretzel and sage- all things our family enjoys! The front has the single illustration of the food with a short description. This was the only kind of strange thing- the descriptions are not always a definition of the food. For example, the oyster just says "mother of pearl." Overall though, the concept is adorable and worth buying/gifting if you love food. The cards are very sturdy and perfect for little hands/mouths. They come in an equally durable box for storage.

What I love about this product is that it is unique but still very very useful! Babies LOVE the contrast during tummy time, and these cards are so unique and make the perfect shower addition gift!
