Great pens, girls love them, and not expensive

I really love the pens! The fibre tip never fails and it smooth and clear to write with. They last and last.Been using the crayon with my 2 year olds - no breakages so far.The pencils are on the harder rather than softer side so better for sketching than colouring.Great set overall and good colour range. Great as a starter set to cover all the bases.

Papermate is an established stationary brand that offer quality items at reasonable prices. As a Nursery Practitioner working in a busy nursery, I always tend to go for branded pen and pencil sets as they tend to last longer and have good quality colours that last and show up well. This is a great set that provides everything you need for colouring at home or in a setting. This set includes 24 pens, 24 crayons and a set of 16 wax crayons. There is a good choice of colours in the pen and crayon sets, and the wax crayons are a great size for smaller hands to hold. The pens have a shaped tip whuch allows you to draw thin and thick lines depending on how you tilt the nib - I have to say that the 2 - 3 year olds in my playroom didn't bother over this much, but this would be great for older children. The pens stay fresh with a 24 hour ink recovery time - the lids are fairly easy for children to apply independently, which is always a bonus. This is a great set which offers really good value at £12 and is currently on offer for £10.20.

I got the kids’ set and you get separate full boxes of colouring pencils, crayons and felt tips - all nice quality with a very good selection of vibrant, vivid colours and no duplicates. Exactly what we wanted and very convenient to get this as a set so there's an assortment of mediums to try out.

Paper Mate colouring set containing 24 marker/felt tip pens, 24 coloured pencils and 16 crayons. These are all good quality colouring items so they represent good value at £12.00. The felt pens have bright vivid colours and there was only one pen that was on the dry side. A good shake and settle solved that issue though. These pens do recover well after settling too. Bear in mind they are felt pens rather than artist/manga pens so you will get bleeding with paper. The pencils are ready sharpened (lots of cheap pencils don’t come sharpened and ready to use) and blend well. The crayons also blend well, despite popular belief not all crayons are equal and cheap ones are not good for colouring. These are decent crayons, I’d definitely buy Paper Mate crayons again for my nephews and nieces. All of them actually blend and layer decently for the media type. I’ve bought Paper Mate pens for years but never bought them for colouring; I think they’re a brand worth buying if you/your children enjoy colouring.

From the first use the felt tips look like they are running out. Not great quality for the price.

I love that this set comes with a variety of options. My daughter loves colouring, with crayons, pencils and felt tips.This set is huge! All colours arrived intact with no damage, all pencils sharp.The pens are a lovely thickness to hold, and have a bold tip- perfect for children to colour in with. Colours are bright and certainly have no visible signs of drying up any time soon.The range of colours you get in this set are just what you need to colour in almost anything.Currently priced at £10.20 there doesn't appear to be much in price when compared with buying three equivalent separate products from similar brands. You might think therefore maybe a discount should be applied, as it is a bundle of items... but given they are good quality and work i'd be happy with this price.

Unsere Jüngste ist jetzt eingeschult worden und natürlich haben wir schon genug Stifte da, aber man kann nie genug haben oder? Von Paper Mate hatte wir schon mal ein Set (aber eher für Erwachsene) mit dem wir höchst zufrieden waren und auch heute immer noch teilweise in Benutzung haben und hier das Set ist ebenfalls sehr gut. 24x Filzstifte mit einer guten Farbpalette, 24x Buntstifte ebenfalls vollkommen ausreichend und 16x Wachsmalstifte. Die Filzstifte sind von der Spitze her etwas dicker gehalten, aber auch die Kleine kriegt dünnere Striche gut mit hin und die Farben leuchten schön auf Papier und suppen bei uns nicht durch. Mir gefällt die Dicke der Spitze persönlich sehr gut, da sie nicht so empfindlich sind. Die Buntstifte sind ebenfalls vollkommen in Ordnung und lassen sich sehr gut einsetzen. Aber es ist wie es ist, ich bin seit vielen Jahren ein großer Fan von einem sehr bekannten deutschen Hersteller und auch wenn diese hier mir gefallen, dann würde ich trotzdem eher wieder zu den anderen greifen. Natürlich muss man hier einfach auch den Preis sehen, also bitte nicht falsch verstehen. Die hier sind gut! Die Wachsmalstifte kommen bei uns eher seltener zum Einsatz, aber sie machen was sie machen sollen. Ich male eigentlich ganz gerne mit so welchen Stiften, aber die Tochter steht dann doch mehr auf Filz und Holz :-). Preis/Leistung finde ich sehr gut und jetzt auch die Order voll zufriedenstellend ist/war, kann ich sie absolut empfehlen.

Das Malset habe ich für meine Kinder genommen, denn gerade Buntstifte kommen in der schule mal schnell weg und so ist es gut das man doch mal welche liegen hat. In diesem set sind aber nicht nur Holzbuntstifte dabei sondern auch Filzstifte sowie Wachsmalstifte. Das Set ist daher richtig toll und schon mal umfangreich.Die Wachsmalstifte 16 Stück funktionieren gut, sind nicht gebrochen und so kann man gut malen oder basteln, wir machen dann noch immer etwas mit den fingern feucht oder einen Schwamm um andere Effekte zu erschaffen und das funktioniert auch gut damit.Die Holzbuntstifte sind 24 Stück und alle Farben sind vorhanden und auch von manchen Farben wie blau verschiedene Farbnuancen. Sie malen gut und lassen sich auch ohne Probleme spitzen ohne das es gleich wieder die Mine bricht. Bis jetzt sind sie okay...Jetzt wären wir noch bei den Filzstiften, diese haben eine etwas dickere Mine, die Hülle geht einfach ab und könnte hinten auch drauf gesteckt werden. Sie malen gut und es sind 24 Stück und die Farben sind auch sehr gut.Es ist ein tolles Set was man auch gut verschenken kann und man kann damit gut malen, ausmalen oder basteln. Bis jetzt bin ich zufrieden.
