Great gate that is easy to put up and so far has worked well. I have a large space that I needed a gate for our pups to be confined when we aren’t home. I love this gate. It fully retracts so it’s not an eyesore when we don’t need it. Just remember to lock it or the pups learn very quickly their weight can create slack and room to escape. I don’t think I will ever go back to a traditional gate after this.

This is very well-made and works beautifully when used as intended. The one drawback for me, which I don't blame on the product at all, is that I have a really tiny dog and a very large opening. So, even the toughest, most tightly stretched material—over such a long span—is just no match for physics. She (my dog) can still lift this thing from the middle and create the slightest gap which is just enough for her to go under. But, that being said, mine is just a "perfect storm" scenario. I'm certain a slightly larger dog and/or narrower gate would work like a charm! It's still a 5-star product in my opinion.

This was a two fold purchase, one to keep our dogs out of the living room and secondly to roll back and out of the way when I have to walk (with a walker) through the doorway.It was easy to install and is very nice looking. It is easy to open. We don’t have small children so I can’t comment keeping them safe and we have no reason to have a lock.

Get this baby gate. You won't regret it! I love how easy it is to use. I prefer this over the metal bar gates because I don't have to worry about my baby accidently falling into the gate. This gate is mesh so even if my baby falls on it, it's not hard compared to the metal gates. Setting up this gate required a bit more work than the metal gates. You'll have to drill both ends to the wall to anchor it down. You can easily pull it one headed and hook it. You can lock the mesh or leave it unlock so you can open and close it. I like the openness when the gates are open. I don't have to worry about the metal bar at the bottom. Which is a tiny hazard for everyone. Plus the length of this gate is fantastic. I have a wide arch doorway and it was nearly important to find a metal gates for it. But this gate meets the width I need with no problem. Do yourself a favor and get this gate instead of the metal ones.
