I bought this for my 7 year old great niece as a Christmas present. I'm looking forward to giving this to her. I believe she will love it since she loves art and painting. The package has everything as described and appears to be of excellent quality. I really like the paper examples so you know what it should look like when completed.

I like that this paint by number is on canvas, rather than just a piece of cardboard. The canvas is stretched with a wooden frame behind it to hold it, but isn’t “framed” like they describe. Still, these look fine as is.The kit comes with 3 canvases (with lines for pics drawn and spaces numbered), paint brushes, paints labeled with numbers, and hangers. There are also two disposable things like tubes with elastic on each side. Maybe to cover the child’s hands/wrists while they paint? I have no other ideas and no directions are included because the rest of the kit is self explanatory.There is only one paint cup of each color, except for the teal blue which has two. Although we aren’t even done with the first canvas, I imagine we will run out of some of the colors that are used for larger spaces.Age 8 up seems about right, but the dolphin one has larger spaces so a child around 6 may be able to do that one. The Fox and bird have smaller spaces to paint.
