Love the look of this light so much but I bought it in December so it’s not been a year yet and there is a short in the cord and it buzzes and flashes! Really sad!!

I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality. It’s a darling lamp and the price point makes it even sweeter. It took me approximately 20 minutes to assemble and no tools were needed. I installed three amber-colored Edison bulbs for a warm accent light. Definitely recommend.

I did not expect to assemble the lampshade, which was somewhat awkward and to make matters worse some of the hardware was missing to complete the assembly. I would have probably kept it had it not been for that but in all honestly was pretty dissappointed in the lamp, poor assembly instructions and pretty poor design and instructions in which you are told to use your intelligence! Also hardware, screws and nuts were just loose in the packing materials.

It works as advertised: stands about 5 feet tall, puts out light, looks clean and classic. The base and upright screw together quickly, with the electrical cable already fed through the middle, the way a halogen lamp kit goes together.The floor pedal to turn it on and off is a nice touch, which I haven't seen before.The lampshade looks OK from a distance. But up close you can tell it's in 4 pieces held together with 8 chunky screws... and the 4 pieces don't line up perfectly... and the inside edges of the pieces came a bit bent... and the lampshade is a fraction of an inch smaller than the support bracket that goes inside it, so you worry you're going to bust it when you assemble it.Fortunately it's easy to puzzle out what to do from the pile of pieces they give you. The instructions are one wordless sheet of low-detail diagrams, some of the worst of their kind I've ever seen. This COULD have been so much better -- a little more attention to detail on the lampshade, and hire somebody to write two paragraphs of text and a parts list.

Easy to assemble, looks like it cost more than it did

Goes great in my office. I love the foot switch so I can turn it on and off from under my desk. I needed a little help from another person to put the last screw in, really just holding things in place. The instructions were clear and made the process very simple.

Lamp isn’t worth the money paid. You literally have to assemble everything. There are no nuts to keep the bottom portion of lampshade together. I should’ve gone with a more expensive lamp. This is just Chinsey.
