Lovely little kettle, does what it needs to do

This kettle boils very fast and switches off quickly after boiling. The kettle is just as described and fairly lightweight. The lid opens well when the button is pressed. The power cord is about 65cm long, (effectively shorter because of the bends in a stiff cable) almost too short to reach the socket in my kitchen, but a short cable may be an advantage if your socket is close to the kettle location. The base is a little bit too lightweight. I'm happy with my purchase. Recommended.

My fault, smaller than I thought. But then if you're not boiling as much water you must be saving electricity.

This kettle isn’t fancy but still looks good on the unit. Great value for the cost, what more do you need to boil water

Very useful and worth every penny

I had to return the first one as after having it for 4 weeks, it started to leak from the lid when pouring - don't know whether it is a design fault but time will tell. I was given a replacement rather than a refund so I'll give it another go.I've given a three star rating because it looks good and it boils really fast, but it really is noisy when boiling.

Ideal size & colour , just what I needed .

the kettle came quickly, it looks good and boils very rapidly. despite other reviews I find that the window to see how full it is is quite acceptable and you can see how much is in the kettle easily. very good item but you expect nothing less from black and decker . ty for a nice looking efficient kettle.
