Package in wax just fine unlike picky people that write they were smushed up. Nothing wax wrong with the shape either. These are a very affordable nice looking. Very light pair of shoes.I buy an inexpensive pair every year in summer before vacation ! Great value. Accurate sizing. I wear these for work as I need black shoes. They are great for standing in for a long shift. I don't think they would do well as a running shoe, but they are great for working retail.

I tried to wear these very lightweight shoes for jogging, but though the length was adequate for my size 14 feet, I could not tolerate the no stretch or “give” fabric for my men’s B width so returned them. There is no “breaking in” with this fabric so they would stay too tight for me.
