Easy to put together (though there were no included instructions so you better use your intuition and the pictures on Amazon to figure it out)I haven’t installed this on a tree yet (preferred method) but instead have placed it on a rock wall for the squirrels to enjoy.Having it freestanding is not without its drawbacks… the squirrels are happy to tip it over once it’s empty. This squirrel feeder rates ten stars. They had a slight learning curve but got over it! Much better than a wooden one and well worth the money

If you plan to nail or screw it to a tree, it needs a brace for support. It’s heavy and long. But I’ve been going thru 2 wood picnic tables each season, so I switched to metal, hoping it will last longer.

The chipmunks love these tables. One sits inside and one sits on the bench. A squirrel might be too large as even Blue Jays and Robbins tend to knock the umbrella out of it's stand.Very well made and withstands strong winds. Did have to use some bonding material to keep the umbrella from flying out in heavy winds. Otherwise very satisfied.

For you simpletons out there……I’d avoid There’s no instructions and you will be crushed like it’s the end of the world, not knowing what to do For people like me, you are inclined to put stuff together without instructions… you ll do just fineLooks great The scummy little critters have a place to chill now, out of the sun3 stars because of no instructions… come on MANufacturer????? Got it and surprised how sturdy it was. No instructions came with it but any caveman can easily build it. Only gripe was umbrella flying away or being pushed around by the rock squirrels. Had to tape it in to prevent it from flying away. Not going to take a star away from it though. Really great for what it is.

Adorable squirrel feeder, I did put a bracket under it to keep it strong from my many pudgy squirrels, tree it’s on isn’t very level but I worked it out. It’s durable and should last a long time.

Bought for my backyard and the squirrels love it. Easy to install and hours of fun watching the wild life enjoy the food and benches.
