Hanes Men's Originals Garment Dyed Sweatshirt, Fleece Unisex Crewneck Pullover

This is a comfortable, true to size white sweatshirt from a brand that meets expectations. There are no complaints about this sweatshirt. I'd recommend.

I picked out the Hanes Originals Sweatshirt in White and XL size. I wear Hanes T-shirts in XL so the size chart is similar, but I did notice that the long sleeves are about 2" longer than I need. It may be part of the style for this pullover, but it also causes a bit of extra concern with white clothing. The crew neck includes an extra triangle of fabric sewn in the front and a similar half-circle of fabric sewn at the back of the neck. The extra fabric is subtle, but does add a bit of design. This isn't the thickest fleece pullover I've owned, but it still adds warmth. The major reason I'm at 4 stars for this sweatshirt is that the arms are long and the size chart has no info on arm length to help with expecting that fit.

This is honestly my new favorite sweatshirt. It is so warm and cozy! It washes and dries up great in machines, and did not shrink at all. LOVE.

I'm 6'1" 230lbs and ordered an XL but it seems more like an XXL as it's super baggy and the sleeves can extend to my finger tips. I really don't mind the bagginess but I do think it's well worth mentioning for anyone expecting a tighter fit like the product photo shows. That being said the material is very soft but the material is a lot thinner than other sweatshirts I have.I probably wouldn't wear this out of the house, but for a lazy day at home it does make for quite a comfy sweater.

I guess if you have big arms, then this is the perfect sweatshirt to wear...I normally wear a large and this is an "XL" so overall it's probably fine.The fabric itself is a decent thickness. Not too thick or too thin, but thick enough to keep you warm if it's not winter weather outside. The bottom of the sweatshirt as well as the cuffs have a 2-2½" border on them while the neckline is only ½" (but then it would look weird if it was wider probably).It's also very white when you first take it out of the package and almost immediately you're gonna get some smudge on it somewhere and that's going to make it incredibly noticeable. I probably should have gotten a different color, even if it was an off-white. That's not the fault of the manufacturer though, just a personal issue.It's nice and comfortable, big and fluffy feeling (but not too thick) and does a decent enough job at keeping you warm.

The material is really soft and somewhat lightweight. It has the typical cotton & synthetic blend feel. There is a fairly thick neck tag, which is unfortunate, as I strongly prefer my sweatshirts to be tag less and iirc some Hanes clothing I bought in the past were indeed tag less, but not this one. The white color is true white, not an off white or creamy color.I am about 5'10 and 150lb, and according to the size chart, an M would fit me the best, which is what I ordered. The actual shirt fits me slightly too big, especially in the waist area; and the sleeves are a bit too long as they can almost cover my entire hands all the way to the finger tips. My arms are normal length BTW, for reference I wear 33 sleeves in dress shirts. I think Hanes intends for that oversized look though. Personally, I found it to be slightly baggy, especially in the waist and sleeves areas, as I personally prefer a more normal fit; so had I known this, I would order an S instead. But if you are looking for that oversized look, then stick to the size chart. BTW the waistband has very weak elasticity.

He was pretty happy with the fleece when putting it on, it was pretty soft and comfortable. He happened to be wearing a black heattech and it picked up all the lint inside the fleece. Hopefully washing it will make it better, otherwise it's not going to be a wear-over. Please check photos!

This sweatshirt is not that thick. It almost has the same feel as a t-shirt so just be mindful. I'd rathe this top a 5/10.
