First I got this because I have a ring door bell and really not so good people living in my building. So I wanted something to easily but securely put it up. I saw this and thought it would be great. Unfortunately it did not work out that way, first you need to measure out the foam inside to fit your ring in without it falling out. Then you need to put a piece after putting your ring or it will slide back when someone rings. Screw everything together then try and if it to your door which BTW needs to have a perfect gap and aline perfectly with.the metal. It literally more work then the one you mount to your door and screw. To charge it, you need to undo the everything. Maybe this type of mount works for others but no joke it's not for me. More work then needed.
