India is the country of origin. The towels gained "body" after washing, have a low pile and are lightweight which is good for me at 77 years old. Lightweight but not at all flimsy.

Q: Early reviews were good, later reviews said they shed more lint than expected. Suppliers: what changed and has this been resolved?

I am surprised by the amount of lint after each washing. The towel in itself seems fine. And after repeated washings are holding up extremely well. Are still very comfortable to use. And dry your body or one of your companion if that desire becomes attractive to you in a very good manner, sometimes returning compliments from your companion as to the towels warmth and comfort. I would purchase them again even knowing of the lint issue. I also have followed the manufacturers recommendation and do not use fabric softener when washing these towels. Sincerely Robert Tonkavich

Q: Do these towels bleach out with face products like benzoyl peroxide?

Julie, I have not used benzoyl peroxide with these towels, so I can’t really give you a satisfactory answer. I really wouldn’t think it would have an affect on them, but really can’t say for sure.
