Easy installation under 10mins and great quality, this product is definitely a life saver, Model Y/X has a design problem that the trunk doesn’t have enough lighting in the dark. This Tparts trunk light gives my trunk a face lift, it has a built in ambient sensor that automatically shuts the light when the trunk is closed. No more dark trunk at night, It makes you feel like getting a new car.

Extremely simple install and sensor works seamlessly. Great amount of light and quality parts. Works with the model x too just needs some adjustments to make the sensor see the tailgate when it’s closed (im guessing it’s further away than on the model Y and so the sensor doesn’t always see the tailgate is closed unless you put some Velcro or something to minimize the distance between the sensor and the tailgate) and it’s also just a tad short for the model x which really isn’t a problem because you can barely tell anyways. So all in all a very solid product. Only reason I knocked off one star is because it is an awful warm white hue and compared to the cool white interior Tesla lights you can tell it’s aftermarket and doesn’t match.

The media could not be loaded.  Easy install. Adds the right amount of light to dark trunk. The sensor immediately shuts off light when trunk closes and immediately turns on when opened. Perfect!Highly recommend it. It should have been something Tesla included originally.

It fits perfectly! Length is just right, not too long nor short. Installation is super easy. And looks nice too.

Ever since I installed these lights. I noticed ppl staring more in my tesla. Lights brighten up the trunk and is no longer dark. I like the auto shut off with the sensor. Not many lights have that. Only issue is these lights are double the price of the other trunk lights. Hopefully they work for a long time.
