Better sticking product to hold to auto glass. As advertised

Love this! I’m still trying to get the hang of programming different things, but it’s super fun! The only concern I had was that the sticky tape that came with it does not stick to the actual product. It sticks to the window, but I had to glue, the other side to the actual product.

I bought a smaller cheaper one and was really impressed and then I saw this one and thought I want a bigger one.I shouldn't have returned the smaller one you could see it in the day time this one you can't 😪

this is cute. it can be a pain to get it to connect to your phone but once you get it.. its fun to see all the different things you can do with it. pictures on it are hard to make out if they are from your gallery, but the ones you can download are fun! it sticks really well.. i have even had to move it and it still stuck to just as well after!

The sign comes with a 5v 3a/9v 2a/12v 1.5a car power adapter, a 14+ ft cable with a builtin on/off switch, 8 adhesive pads, and instructionsI got this setup out of the box and installed their application on my Pixel Pro 7. My first attempt to program something onto the sign failed with the app hanging about half way through and the sign displaying a flashing play icon. I was able to kill the app and restart it with no issues and the sign defaulted back to the "Welcome" message it had on it when I power cycled it. My next step was to try and update the firmware. This appeared to go well until I hit 99% at which point the progress meter went away and I was informed the update failed. I tried a couple different things to see if I could get the firmware to update but it failed every time. I then checked the last updated date of the app and saw it was 9/2023 so I guessed that maybe it was having a problem with the new Android version (v14 Security Update 11/1/2023) that was installed on my phone 11/2023. I got my slightly older Android tablet (v13 Security Update 5/1/2023), installed the app, and was able to successfully update the firmware on the sign. Once the firmware was updated, programming the sign worked as expected on both devices.With the updated firmware, the sign works extremely well for text and animations. It's not the fastest sign I've seen for animations but works well enough. However, text/image scrolling is extremely fast even at the slowest setting. It would be nice if there was an option to set a slower or custom scroll rate for text/image scrolling.Images are discernible from a distance but up close more complicated images can be hard to make out. A light/dark frosted/diffusion pane of plexiglass set just a little bit in front of the sign clears this up nicely (personally I think a dark pane looks better). Unlike images, text is discernible up close and at a distance.I was able to power and run this off of a 5v 3a USB A wall power adapter with no issues.Final thought, it would be nice if there was a way to program this from a PC using custom software to do live updates to the sign.Overall, I am very happy with how the sign looks in my project (custom hanging box that holds a piece of frosted plexiglass just a little bit in front of the sign) and only took 1 star away due to the difficulties with updating the firmware and the need for additional materials to make complex images look good.

My problem is not with the function of this product but the disappointing price compared to other nearly identical items. The item dimensions say 27 x 5, but the size says 15 x 4, so that confusion made me immediately disappoined when it showed up as 15 x 4. It was rolled up in a small box, too, so I don't know where the 27 came from, and that was misleading. Because of the price, I thought it would be 27 because I can't fathom why it would be so much more than others if not for the larger size. That is my reasoning behing giving it only three stars.As far as the function, I was able to easily hook it up to my bluetooth using the suggested app. I like the options it gives you for display. It can do just about anything you want it to do. You can program text, audio, animations, images, photos, an even draw your own pictures. It's quite pixelated, though, so any non-text graphics show up a bit rough. There are a plethora of pre-programmed offerings making it easy to customize it to your liking. And, it has uses other than just in a car. It can be used anywhere a customized sign would be useful. I think I will keep it around for holidays and parties to announce my personalized message depending on the occasion.

Quick set up with the app, I was able to have the sign running within a few minutes of unboxing. I would suggest changing the font when making text for the sign, as the default font is a Chinese one. English characters look a little weird unless you download another font. Lots of cool, user-generated animations to download in the app as well which is awesome.
