Great logs, easy to light and great heat output.

They burn hot and long (more than half an hour but less than an hour) - but you need an already hot fire burning. If you want to keep things simple you can get some instant lighting logs as well - begin with the instant lighting log and then add one or two of these 30 minutes later.

These are better than I expected. A bit more expensive than the kiln dried logs I usually buy but burn for longer and chuck out a lot more heat. I have been using a mix of both in our log burner.The key is to burn a couple of smaller wooden logs first to get the base of a good fire then add these afterwards burning one at a time. I understand that there are other brands that don’t burn as well as these, but if you haven’t tried them before it’s well worth giving them a try to see if they work for you. Would recommend.

They burn well but can be quite messy. Due to the coating you do need to wash your hands after picking them up. No discernable smell. Burn time compares well with a log of similar size. Less resulting Ash.
