Yes, they stay up for me. Probably the best Fall & Winter socks I own. They stay up without leaving the worrisome compression rings around my calves!

They are called Merino wool which means they are a combo of: Wool/Acrylic/Nylon/Polyester/Cotton/Spandex Blend. The percentage of pure wool is very low otherwise they would be unwearable and unwashable. As for the sock itself it's a good combo of fabrics in my opinion. Thick enough yet not to thick. Be aware that these are not a thick boot sock.
