I bought a box of these and gave them to the students I tutor, ranging from Kindergarten to 5th grade that year. I like to theme my gifts around writing since that is the main subject I teach. I also don't want to give them something cheap that they will just throw away. I saw these and thought they were perfect! Many of the girls do gardening anyway, and their families are environmentally aware. The pencils were very well-received, and the kids were excited to use that pencil for everything so it would wear down quickly, and they could plant their seed! This is such a neat idea and a perfect gift for anyone who uses a pencil in their work or hobbies!

These are so cool! The concept is great, and it actually works! People who say it didn't work most likely just did it incorrectly, or had to much sun or water or something. They make great gifts, my were used for Teacher Appreciation and everyone loved them! There is a great variety of flowers and spices, and it's all for a good price! I also love that they work as a real pencil too!

I use a lot of pencils so I really just wanted something that had an alternate use after it’s used. Im starting a little collection of plants in my room now. Love them.

These pencils were amazing and I bought them as gifts to my friends, they loved it but there were a few issues. The capsule where the seeds were kept broke easily. One popped off during class and made a mess on the carpet floors. I tried planting forget-me-nots but they hadn’t sprouted for a month. This might be because I live in a desert or the soil I used wasn’t good enough. I’m not sure if it might have been only me with this problem though. It was a great gift but there were a few issues.

I am a Kindergarten teacher. We do a basic unit on plants each year in the spring. I order these pencils every year as a gift to end the plant unit. The kids love them and the parents think it's so awesome. Win-win.

This is such an awesome product, I am so excited to use these pencils and plant them when I am done. I will have a great garden in no time with how much I use pencils at work!I work in a Natural Resources Department, so using something sustainable only makes the commitment to Natural Resources even more solidified.

Got these as a present for my mom and she LOVES them!

I love the idea of these pencils. However, I personally have not used one all the way to the seed packet without the seed packet accidentally coming off or breaking - I don't know if the seeds are actually viable! I have a pack for myself (which I'm still using) and have given a few away as gifts, but since I move countries a lot, I don't know the eventual fate of the gifted ones either... But I teach bio/ environmental science, and love having these as a conversation starter on more eco-friendly alternatives to our actions, no matter how small they may seem. I guess my point is, I do love these pencils but I don't know if they're actually worth buying for their own sake.

Par contre attention, contrairement à ce que le pictogramme laisse à penser, il ne s’agit pas de graine de tomates mais bien de plantes diverses. Même graines que le lot avec l abeille

Mi piacciono sempre molto queste matite,che ho usato più volte per vari regalini nell'ambito scolastico.È bella la suggestione di pensare metaforicamente all'insegnante che pianta dei pensieri, come semi nella mente dei bambini.Nelle cartolerie si trovano in confezione soprattutto singola e arrivano a costare 4-5 euro ciascuna (viste personalmente).In questo formato o in questi più grandi vanno spacchettate e confezionate singolarmente, però ne vale assolutamente la pena economicamente parlando, e la cosa si presta anche ad una personalizzazione più marcata.Io le ho messe in un sacchettino di carta con altri piccoli oggetti ma mi sarebbe piaciuta anche l'idea di confezionarle in piccoli vasetti di terracotta con della torba compressa.Nessuno mi ha mai detto se i semini funzionano una volta piantati ma non ho motivo di pensare il contrario.Belle belle.

I bought these as a stocking filler gift for a friend.She was really taken with them and thought them such a great, original idea.So taken with them in fact that she went on to buy them as gifts herself.They really are such a lovely idea.The 8 pencils came nicely presented in their box and have a quality feel to them.Trouble is, you want to use the pencils up just to have the excuse to get planting!I bought the 'Original' edition. You can also buy then in 'Happy Bee' edition or 'Spread the Love' edition!I'm really pleased I stumbled across these, quite by accident.Heartily recommended.

Ich habe noch nie eine Produktrezesion geschrieben - in diesem Fall ist es aber unvermeidbar:Die Stifte sind eine tolle Idee und schön umgesetzt. Unweigerlich für einen stolzen Preis - im besten Fall kauft man hier aber nicht nur Samen und einen Bleistift sondern auch einen kleinen Gedankenanstoß zur Bewusstseinsänderung unserer Wegwerfgesellschaft.Besonders haben wir uns auf den Stift mit Sonnenblumen- und Cherry-Tomaten-Samen gefreut. Zu unserer großen Enttäuschung war dieser aber entgegen der Darstellung auf dem Produktfoto in der eigentlichen Lieferung nicht enthalten. In einer super freundlichen Antwort nach weniger als 24 h wurde uns aus Kulanz ein Ersatz zugesagt. Nach einer Woche erreichte uns dann ein kleines Päckchen direkt aus Dänemark, dass nicht nur die zwei "fehlenden" Stifte ersetzte, sondern noch jeweils einen zweiten mit Sonnenblumen- und Cherry-Tomaten-Samen, eine Set mit zwei hübschen Samenkarten und eine, die einen persönlichem, händisch geschriebenen Gruß enthielt.Genial!!! Lange nicht mehr ein solches Verständnis von Kundenservice erlebt.Das nach dem Hinweis das Produktbild nach wenigen Tagen entsprechend angepasst wurde ist für mich in diesem Fall selbstreden - im Allgemeinen aber auch nicht selbstverständlich.Kurz:Wertvolle ProduktideeSchöne ProduktqualitätGrandioser Kundenserviceund ein für das Gesamtpaket akzeptabler Preis.Gerne wieder!
