Organic Oatmeal Lotion - Nurtures Dry Itchy Skin Plant-Based Body Moisturizer with Aloe Vera + Shea Butter 3.38 fl. oz

I love this lotion! It has a silky smooth consistency and blends in quickly. What I love most is that it moisturizes my skin without leaving any oil or greasy residue. It also has a light + lovely (barely detectable) scent which I appreciate as I find many skincare products to be too heavily scented. I have allergic reactions to most lotions but this one is gentle enough to use on my sensitive skin daily :)

I took a chance on this lotion since I am not familiar with the company. I did look them up and I believe they are relatively new, based on trademarks applied for in August 2023. The lotion packaging states that the product is manufactured in Taiwan and, while their website didn’t have a wealth of information, there was a listing of their other products. Their mission statement is a good one: Metablessed wants to produce products that are good for humans but which do not harm animals or the planet. There’s not much to argue with there. ;)So how is the lotion? Pretty good, in my opinion. Ingredients such as shea butter and aloe are listed and the feel of the product is very silky and not greasy. I have only used it two times and did not expect much yet but I am impressed by how smooth my dry elbows are several hours after applying it. I used it as a hand lotion, initially, to make sure I wasn’t sensitive to it and my hands are soft and do not feel slick or greasy at all. The scent is described as “rosemary and oatmeal“ and I wasn’t sure what that meant but I will say that it is a very mild scent—and pleasant. It dissipates quickly, but that’s not a bad thing because then it won’t clash with any other scent someone is wearing, or make me smell like a florist shop. I was also impressed with the packaging. The box is sturdy and gift quality with lots of labeling and has ingredients and company information available. I think there was only one off-putting thing about it and that is that the company logo is “Healing the World through Self Love“. Perhaps there is a difference in language here but I’m not sure that means what the company meant for it to and they might want to rethink that going forward. However, it gave me a chuckle, and I like this certified organic product so much that I may go ahead and try their avocado oil as well.

This lotion worked well for when my skin was feeling dry and irritated. It was moisturizing and felt great on, was not sticky and had a light natural scent.

Recently, my wife asked me to pick this organic oatmeal lotion up for her off of Amazon, Well, I felt the price was a little salty, she had been researching. It felt like it was something that would help her skin.After a couple weeks of use, she ended up giving it away, as it was causing an allergic reaction on her face. I don’t know if it was something that she was allergic to, or if it was the lotion itself, but she decided to quit using it. Obviously everyone is different and has different allergies.I can’t truly speak to how well it works, but I know it didn’t work well for her

This comes in an attractive pump bottle. The lotion is silky and calming. Though it does not list perfume, it has a strong fragrance that is not similar to the ingredients listed. I would not recommend this for anyone sensitive to fragrance.

This is one of the best moisturizers I have used. It is a velvety soft and fast absorbing lotion that leaves no sticky residue. The pump works great and although I have sensitive skin I got no irritation.

I really like this lotion. Yes the bottle is smaller but I also like that because I never finish the larger sizes. This is attractive to leave out. It’s on my coffee table for easy access! The consistency is medium; it glides on easily and leaves my skin feeling very soft.
