This is my replacement laser. Much better quality than brand I originally bought 5 years ago. Easy to set up. Deal came with extensions. Eventually bought roller pack. Works well with Lightburn. Cuts 5 mm plywood in 1 pass. My previous laser took 3-4 passes and made the wood dark and sticky.

Takes some getting used to but work great and is exactly what I needed to do tumblers

Etched some slate coasters for a meeting and they went over well.

Out of the box this rotary roller did not work with my Comgrow Z1 10W diode laser. One thing to note, most of these simple lasers have 2 motors on the Y-axis, so be sure to unplug the wire harnesses from each motor. Then just choose 1 to use with the included jumper harness. For me, I actually swapped 3 of the 4 pins on the white end of the jumper. This can be accomplished with a tiny flathead jewlers screwdriver and lifting the little white tab up while pulling out the terminal (see photo). My finished reworked harness is also included in a photo. After all that, it started to work just fine.One note if you're a Lightburn user, I used the rotary tool wizard found under the Laser Tools menu. My settings I ended up with were 218 mm per rotation and the roller diameter of 12.5 mm. Hope this helps!

The item arrived intact and in good condition despite the box not being sealed in any way. There was no sealing tape on the box at all.

Mecpow states that the rotary roller is compatible with the most laser systems. Basically, that means they do not care enough to even compile a list. This leaves the customer to purchase the roller and hope that the system they have is in the "Most" category. If you are unwilling publish the systems the roller is compatible with, then there should be a list of systems known not to be compatible with this Rotary Roller. Start with the longer Ray5 laser system. I had the first one replaced because I thought it was defective. The second one was sent back for the same issue. Simply not compatible.

Works great for hydro flasks too! The rubber is super grippy so you don’t have to worry about it slipping. It also includes risers for the laser. Super easy to setup.
