The bowls are as described on Amazon. They are definitely bowls with some depth. They are sturdy, lightweight, and definitely break resistant so far. However, the manufacturer failed to include all the glorious things they claim about this product as part of their packaging. There was a thank you for buying their product card, but no information of practical use. I could not tell what degrees these could be heated up or cooled down to, what the material was. I had to go back to the Amazon site to find all they claim to be. The symbols under the bowls are not enough to explain what I should expect from this product.

These bowls are eco friendly as they’re made of straw wheat! They’re lightweight and perfect for those don’t like using plastic. It has the look and feel of plastic though. The depth of the bowl ls are great and would be perfect for salads, pasta, ice cream and such. I would highly recommend and the quality is good as well.

Hand washes in moments. Large enough for whatever. light enough for anything but paperweights---or anything that requires it to be heavy. Okay, maybe that last one didn't really work. Whatever. It's perfect for that college student in your life or a 30-something bum who literallly CANNOT have nice things. These bowls are functional, resilient, and nice to look at (and from afar, you can't tell they aren't ceramic).

What can I say about these bowls? This is one of several sets I have. I absolutely love them. They are super durable, they are a great size--36 oz holds a lot and they're really lightweight. That's great because I don't have to worry if I drop them, because they are shatterproof! They are super easy to clean, you can hand wash or put them in the dishwasher and they are also microwave safe. I've used mine for cereal, soup, pasta and everything else I've made for dinner.

These bowls are well-made and feel good to the fingers -- the woven fibers feel a bit like plastic but not as tacky or sticky. However, they're not fragile -- I dropped them from a height of about five feet onto a stone floor and there were no dents or markings or anything. They're also good-sized for a salad, soup, or anything else. They advertise them as "scald-free", which I imagine they are if you put anything hot into them.Overall, I'm impressed by these bowls. If you have children (or are clumsy yourself ;D), then you'll appreciate their durability, and while not *quite* as classy as ceramic, are better than most plastic bowls.

These bowls will easily hold a heaping serving of chili or soup--just in time for Football season. They could easily be used as serving bowls for dips too, or to store leftovers in the fridge. They didn't come with instructions for use--Freezer, Microwave, etc, but I'd be careful putting these in the microwave for more than a few minutes. Wheat Straw products consume less energy to produce, are beneficial to farmers who sell their waste products for production, and in some ways help preserve the forests because wheat straw can be used instead of trees for the production of paper products.OK! That said, good sized, multipurpose, unbreakable bowls, and better for the environment. What more could you ask for??

I love this material that these bowls are made of! Microwaves so well (doesn’t get painfully hot at all) and also washes so well in the dishwasher! I’ve only tried the top rack by my suspicion says that it would be fine anywhere. I love that the material is not an offensive shiny plastic. It is very thick and durable! Love these!!
