My reaction to unboxing was comical because of reflexive gasps of oohs and aahs over at first sight! It's high quality is in the looks of the large size of the dial and the beautiful wood band fitting as light as a feather 🪶. An incredible value for your money and a timeless conversation piece.

This is the first time that I've ever worn a watch made from wood (other than the face and clasp). The watch is very lightweight. It's barely noticeable on my wrist. I've gotten many compliments on it.The only downside about it is that it is made from wood. I say this because you have to be very careful when removing links. The watch comes with a link pin remover. I highly recommend taking it to a watch store or purchase a link removal kit yourself. When I attempted to remove a link, I chipped a corner of it which by then I basically peeled away the rest of the link. Luckily, one link is all that I needed to remove so it wasn't a total loss.Other than that the watch has been great. I expect to get many years of wear from it.

The eco-friendly natural sandalwood has a warm feel to it unlike metal and is also not only hypo-allergenic but also free from toxic materials. I particularly appreciated the lightweight feel; it was barely noticeable on my wrist. The Japan quartz movement ensures precise timekeeping, and the adjustable link bracelet with a locking stainless steel clasp added to its convenience; though I'd prefer the clasp to somehow be made from wood too for its feel.Adjusting the links is a bit challenging as they're fragile. I recommend taking it to a professional for adjustments to avoid damage. The watch's overall design is beautiful and I've received many compliments on its elegant look. The inclusion of a gift box makes it perfect for occasions like birthdays or anniversaries. Overall I really like this watch and it's better than I was expecting, even though I've been wanting a wooden watch for a while. I didn't realize how good the wood would feel versus a traditional metal band.

The first thing out of the box I noticed was the elegance of the watch face, it has a nice look, and the elk logo is reflective and brings the whole piece together. The watch is much lighter than anticipated, and the pattern looks to be printed into the material when inspecting very close. From afar, it looks like a more genuine wood grain. For the price, it's a nice piece that doesn't feel restricted in terms of style. It has the type of band that cannot be easily adjusted and arrived a good deal looser than my wrist (I'm an average build/size on most things), so I'll be taking it to a watch repair shop to get it correctly sized for my wrist. Overall, a nice piece if you're looking to not spend a ton of money on a something a little less traditional, and its time telling accuracy so far has been spot on.

It is still running perfectly and is a regular part of my wardrobe on off days when a business watch is not called for (great jeans and a sweatshirt type watch). This one has a different color combination and both a brand and deer insignia, so is a fair variation to my original. Unlike my first order, this comes with a date dial. Comes with battery installed and a standard dial with two setting levels for date and time - very easy to set. Links can be removed with a metal tool that is included in the package. If you don't have a wooden watch yet and would like something unique, this is a great option - gets lots of comments and surprisingly the wooden band doesn't feel at all uncomfortable on your wrist.Cons: I far prefer the color combination on my original watch and am not crazy about the 'gold' backdrop, but of course order to your preference (this one isn't quite as nice as I imagined, but generally conforms with the photos). I had significantly more difficulty removing a link from each size to fit my wrist. It could be done with the tool, but took use of a hammer on both sides to push out the metal rods and one wooden link had a small piece dislodged in the process. Fortunately, this was on the link I was removing so won't impact my use of the product. I did use the instructions regarding which direction the rods were to be removed from, but it was a difficult process. I actually did not have very high expectations for this watch since it only cost thirty bucks but it is actually pretty nice. It is made of real wood and is very attractive. It is super light weight and comfortable to wear. I do need to make the band smaller--I tried for a couple of minutes to remove one of the links but I could not get the pin to come out so I gave up. I will need to try again when I have more time...Aside from that minor inconvenience, I have been happy with the appearance and performance of this product and I definitely recommend it.
