Ordered these boots, they arrived in great time .From box,immediately felt a little large. Insoles sorted thatThereafter very comfortable to wear, great sole grip, sturdy laces and lacing. Seem waterproof tooOnly slight issue,for me is that they are warm , great,ideal possibly for Scottish winter , but not ,in my opinion for summer. All round great value for money ...would buy again.

Boots fit well but the first day or so don't tighten too much at the top and allow them to break in. I use them to walk the dogs in the woods and over the past two weeks that I have had them they have stayed waterproof. As of writing 24/09/24 we have just gone through some of the worst wet weather this year and they have held up well. I would suggest they are more of a late autumn\winter boot as they are very warm and I would suspect your feet would get very hot with these in the summer. The grip is pretty good but not 100% as dogs charging after squirrels have nearly had me off my feet in the slop... but to be fair 99% of people won't have that issue

I bought these on the back of good reviews. They cover a lot of miles and are a very comfortable boot. Sizing is right (size 11). No breaking in needed at all and my feet are picky!. Quality 'appears' good but more time will tell. These cover 30 miles a week so we'll see.One negative so far and unfortunately it's a big one. They state they are waterproof. They are not!. Wet grass on the fabric will leak through. Deeper puddles, forget it. I will look for a better boot for the winter months but at the price point not too bad. Note to the manufacturer:. Don't mislead people!

Where I live there are a lot of hills and it rains a lot and I walk everywhere. I bought these because they were good on price, they're designed to keep the water out and look fairly robust. I don't like to spend too much on any shoes because the tread never seems to last long no matter how much you spend these days. I think manufacturers need to work harder to get this right. Having worn for a few months I'm quite impressed. The tread on the sole is still in pretty good condition. Provided they're manufactured to the same standards I'd have no hesitation in buying these again. Also, the other bonus with these is they threw in a spare pair of laces which I thought was a nice touch.

I absolutely love these boots!Straight out the box these boots are very comfortable and do not need a breaking in period. I am size 11uk and they fit perfectly.I have just used these boots to hike Elidir Fawr in Wales and a week of heavy rain the ground was slippery and very boggy in places but these boots had me covered they kept my feet firmly on the ground and helped me keep my footing.I am not sure what these boots have been coated in but when walking through the boggy patches not only were my socks bone dry the muddy water just flowed off the boots to the point my wife asked why are they still clean whereas hers were covered in mud.Overall the fit, feel and waterproofness of these boots are by far the best I have had. I have only used these boots for two hikes so far but in both dry and wet weather they keep my feet dry and breathable so no sweaty feet.Would definitely recommend and I will be buying a pair for my wife!

An excellent pair of hiking boots, especially for the price. I've used it in hiking from Scotland to Wales within a few months of receiving them and they've worked perfectly in rain or shine. The bootstraps and laces feel high quality and are tough, allowing you to stretch them hard and pull them over the hooks into a strong grip that keep your ankles locked in and secure.While I am pretty confident in the waterproof nature of the shoes, there may be a gap here or there but that is understandable. In my time in (very rainy) Scotland and Wales, they kept my feet and socks well and dry. Just don't drown them in water, not what they're supposed to do.The grip is fairly reliable, perhaps not the greatest on terrain like very wet grass where it might be a bit slippery but otherwise perfectly fine on the mud, rock and road.Overall, an excellent product and has served me well!

These were purchased for simple dog walking as my feet get wet on the local park grass. Simple, no mud, no rocks, no rough terrain, the same grass fields as anywhere else that are regularly cut by out local councils.EVERY single time the grass is damp, not even wet, my feet get soaked in these rubbish boots. If the ground is bone dry, great, damp or wet - forget it.These are advertised as "Waterproof" - a total fraud.Buy these at your peril.Just purchase a reputable decent pair of waterproof boots and leave this utter rubbish alone on Amazons stock warehouse shelves. What a total load of utter rubbish. Not worth £1. I know they are cheap but if they say waterproof then they should be able to repel even a little moisture from short grass !

I think these boots looked great but more importantly they were very comfortable straight out of the box, and they really do keep the water out. I bought them on 21st February last year and as can be seen from the attached pictures they are showing signs of wear. But that's not bad given that I walk 5 miles or so every day in all weather's, and have also immersed them in sea water a few times. I estimate that they have done at least 1500 miles in the 12 months since I bought them. I think the visible damage is probably acceptable for 1500+ miles, and despite the obvious damage they still keep my feet dry. The inner shell remains sound.I think that they are very good value for £50 and will buy them again.

These are amazing boots. Im a footwear fan thweres absoloyley nothing to dislike about these very comfortable apwarapear to be well made very supportive oulsntbe happier buy now they put major brands to shame.they are light weight

I am very pleased with my purchase of these hikers. I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and have problems with my feet, (i.e. - plantar fasciitis, swollen tarsus, hammer toe, etc.). Finding a comfortable pair of shoes is hard to do given my current condition's with my feet. It seems like most shoes these days "at the store's" are too narrow. Even the ones marked as Wide width still tend to be too tight. I came across these shoes while doing a search for extra wide width hikers. I haven't had much luck ordering shoes online, but I was desperate for a new pair of shoes. These were an online special being sold for a good price. They seemed like a good pair of shoes and had good reviews, so I thought I'd take a chance and order a pair. I was glad I did because these were comfortable on my feet right out of the box. The width of the shoes was perfect, and I was happy that I finally found a pair of hikers that weren't too tight in the toe and Tarsus region's of my feet. Even with a little thicker pair of socks they still fit well. The insoles are pretty comfortable also which was another Plus. I usually have to buy extra cushioned insoles for shoes, but I don't think I will have to with these for a while. I am limited on the amount of time I spend on my feet due to arthritic pain, but these shoes were comfortable for me even after a few hours of wearing them.I have never tried this brand of hiker before, but I am very pleased with the construction and the way they fit and feel.Buying clothing and shoes online is something I usually don't do, but I think I finally got lucky with this purchase. I will definitely buy the Nortiv 8 brand again if they continue to make their shoes in the extra wide, I believe 4E?, width.I might even order another pair NOW for the future. If you are looking for a good pair of hikers in an extra wide width, I can honestly say give these a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.
