I certainly enjoyed reading this. Pam writes so clearly and sincerely about the hymns chosen and why they are chosen. She certainly speaks from the heart

I bought myself one and a friend one. Pam Rhodes gives a short history of the hymn and the hymn writer which is very interesting and informative.

It fulfils what I wanted from the book and gives me explanations about the composer and music for discussion with the church choir before we sing certain hymns.
