Dr. Martens Unisex-Adult Closed-Toe Fashion Boot

Absolutely love these!! Comfortable, just enough height to make me taller but low enough for everyday work. Did not need much "breaking in." I get great comments all the time from both men and women.

I’ve been buying this style and brand of boots since my first pair in 1992.I break these in quickly by lathering Mink Oil all over the inside of the boot & outside a bit too. Let sit over night & I wipe the oil off the outside and start wearing them. The oil on inside softens and quickens the break in period. After a few days they are good to go. Enjoy!

I have bought several pairs of doc martens over the years. I had many styles. They are always made with quality materials and will last you years to come if you take care of them.

Purchased these last October because I’ve been a loyal doc marten customer since the 80’s never needing to replace my boots just wanting new ones adding to a collection of sizes. These tore? Right where the wide part of my foot resides now has ac and rides the side soul. Very disappointed in the life span of these for $200 lasting a year? Doc marten, you should replace these for a loyal customer!

A True Classic! I love these boots just as much as the first pair I had in High School!Remember these points:(1) Dr. Martens sizes are sometimes different with UK to US. Make sure you know what size to buy. I wear a size 12 US which is a size 11 UK, at least for these boots that is.(2) Dr. Martens boots are always stiff at first. They will not be comfortable at first. After they are broken in to match you foot shape, they will be the most comfortable boot you're ever owned. You just need to put in the work and power through the pain during the breaking-in phase. It is worth it.

Dr. Martens boots are a classic. Yes, they tend to run large (so order one a bit smaller than your usual shoe size); and yes, they take a while to break in. But once they are broken in, they are a great boot. Comfort, support, and a certain "style".The real problem was the vendor - Elite Hero. I appreciate and support small business people trying to make a start, but I expect them to be honest and professional in their business conduct. The amazingly long time it took to get my order from them leads me to believe that as they receive orders, they then go out and purchase the item you ordered and resell it to you. After waiting over a week for any indication of my order status, I contacted them and was told that they checked their warehouse and the boots were in stock. My experience leaves me skeptical that they have a "warehouse". When I received my boots, they were too-big, so I returned them and requested an exchange for the next smallest size. Instead (and to my great - and unpleasant - surprise), they issued me a refund for a fraction of the purchase price - told me it was a restocking fee, they provided an almost incomprehensible explanation for why they gave me a small refund instead of doing an exchange as requested. I love my Doc Martens boots - but I cannot in good conscience recommend Elite Hero at this time. I hope if they read this review, they will reconsider their approach to business. If they want to play with the big boys out here on Amazon, they have to up their game.

AWFUL QUALITY, overpriced, I am so sad. I paid a lot of money for these. There's a difference between breaking good quality shoes in vs. absolutely torturing myself with terrible material sourcing and quality control. These should come over with 10 extra packs of bandages and food wraps
