I raced through this book in two days, it was so engaging. The author really spoke to me, she so obviously adores her three cats, Homer, Scarlett and Vashti, and the way she puts herself inside the head of Homer, who is blind, is truly moving. Homer’s personality shines out of this book, his determination to live life to the full, his bravery (despite being tiny, he scares off an intruder who has broken into the author’s apartment), and his sweet and loving nature will make you feel you know him personally.
