Absolutely the best
The pens are excellent, the ink is excellent. The pen bodies are, I suppose, nothing special, but they do have a nice rubber grip and the spring clip is better than the ordinary tension clips most pens have. Nice if you want to clip them to a clipboard or notepad. They're functional and color-coded, no complaints. The Vintage inks are truly another level. The colors are bold and while most of them are dark enough to get away with in more professional applications, both color sets do contain an "ordinary" blue or black ink just in case. They write with absolutely zero skip. They dry quickly and they're fully waterproof. They're fade-resistant and archival quality inks. The 0.5mm tip size strikes a solid balance between precision and visibility. The complete Vintage pen set is both fun and practical -- no wacky colors or anything not easily visible on normal copy paper -- and the ink is arguably the best available on the market, if you have a favorite pen body and are looking for a nice refill. The included sticky notes are a nice little value add if you can put them to use. The little booklet fits in my wallet, but it's slim enough to carry around in a pocket on its own too.

Stationery pens
I love these pens. The colors are perfect and muted which I love. They write extremely smooth and the pen thickness is just right where it lies comfortably in your hands. Highly recommend. The price also wasn't too bad. I've had them for almost a whole year and us them for all my bio notes and they're still not completely empty off ink. Definitely going to buy more of these in the future!

Love these pens!
Zebra Sarasa Clip 0.5 Retractable pens are my favorite pens to write with in my journals. These vintage shades are really neat. I love how easy the ink glides on the paper and that it's archival! The only time I've had issues is with the pastel set, ugh those are a waste. But the rainbow set and these vintage shades are wonderful! Smooth, pigmented and lasting.

Nice Pens
I didn't know the brand until I read a review on a pen blog. I was surprised how smooth they write and the colors were a nice change from normal mass market pen palate.

The best pens ever!! Will buy again!!
These pens are absolutely wonderful!! I love the Vintage colors. I am always looking for unusual ink colors and these are perfect!I love that they are 0.5 too. Very fine line. The pens are very smooth and there is no skipping or ink blots. They are great for addressing envelopes and the ink stays clear.I will purchase these again!! Probably before they run out of ink.You will love them!

Great colors!
The media could not be loaded. I really love the colors of these pens. They are bright colors but darker. The name vintage is very fitting. These are 0.5mm and they are a little bit scratchy. They are not inky pens like your average gel pen. They are highlighter safe and do not smear. I tested it several times over the same line. I just got them today but so far so good. I know right away whether I like a pen or not. Im a picky pen user and I really like these.

Currently My Favorite
These pens are great and I don't even use the pen part.I buy them to get the refill to use in my Sarasa Grand. Zebra, for some reason, doesn't sell refills in the "Vintage" colors and I much prefer them over the basic (as in dull and boring) blue, black, red, etc. The basic Zebra Sarasa pen with the push clip is a really great pen, especially the binder clip, but it looks cheap which doesn't bother me except they tend to "walk away". The Sarasa Grand has a brass body that weighs about three times what the basic pen does and looks expensive so people who "borrow" it are less likely to walk away with it. Interestingly no one ever admits to taking my cheap Sarasa but will later ask where I bought it. Guess it either walked again or ran out of ink.I much prefer the "blended" colors offered by the Vintage pens, especially the brown/gray and green/black. The blue/black and blue/gray are also nice but less different from everyday than the first two. The red/black comes along for the ride but I never use them. The price Stationary JP charges is just a little on the high side. If I hadn't been in a hurry and needed Prime delivery I could have saved a couple bucks with a lower price per pen and buying just the colors I will use. They do throw in a packet of sticky notes (tiny ones) that might be suitable for marking pages in a hymnal which, by the way, was the motivation behind the original Post-It notes. That worked out well for 3M didn't it?The Vintage are made in Japan for Japanese consumption so the packaging is printed mostly in something I certainly can't read with English sub-titles. But they do put down a rather dark line and do it very smoothly. With a couple notable exceptions all the good writing implements come from Japan.

Soweit so gut
