Rubies Child's Rosebud Angel Costume, Medium for Themed Parties and Halloween

My daughter got the Medium angel costume. She tried it on, she is 8 years old and it fits her PERFECT. She is a thin/slim/average to short height 8 year old. The material of this dress is of excellent quality, I actually couldn't believe the weight of it. It's really well made for a Halloween Costume. It looks so fabulous on, and does not look cheap at all. The halo is perfect with feathers, and the wings have the feathers as well. The feathers are not as plush as pictured, however they still look great! The only thing is the winds keep closing to one side so on Halloween, I will tape them to her in a way that they stay open.Overall impressive quality for the price, I am VERY pleased, and so is my daughter.

I bought this for my six year old daughter for Halloween and she absolutely loved it. She is petite so the dress was a bit long for her as well as on her arms. She also complained that it was itchy so she wore a white shirt under it. Quick fix no big deal. The dress does puff out and is cute all around. The halo slouches forward no matter what I did to it it just would not stay. You can probably use some hot glue but since my kid didn't complain I just let it be. The wings are nice and big but shed glitter e v e r y w h e r e. Cute costume for the price.

First, the sizing: the description says Medium for 8-10 year olds. My daughter is 7 and a half of average size and weight and it fits her perfectly. I do not see how this costume would fit a 9 or 10 year old. The waist area she reports is itchy, so she needs a white T shirt to wear under. She reports that the arms are not itchy. The wings are a see through material that looks like it would easily rip or it would be easy to poke through, so handle with care. You can see glue around the wings where the fuzzy material is attached to the wings. There is not as much "white fuzz" on the wings or halo as the picture. A very large difference in quantity. Glitter fell off onto the floor (read messy) when I took it out of the package and when child tried it on. The belt is a little different than the picture. There are two small pink flowers instead of one larger flower. The green "leaf" is just a piece of straight green polyester sown onto the dress. There is a small gap in the sash around the waist so that in the middle of what should be all sash you see the white dress, so this piece needs a little adjustment if you can. There is not extra material to fix well, but you can try to tug here and there to make it look more seamless. It is costume material, not clothing, and will not hold up to play wear, but will be fine for walking around in. Also, keep in mind the falling glitter if wearing in your house. All in all a thumbs up from the 7 year old. She thinks it to be beautiful, but as the mom, I need to advise that it is a costume not clothing and although I believe it will make it through one holiday or season with care; but I do not see how this will hold well through a second child. I am not sure it will make it through a wash and I am not going to try until necessary. It does have a bit of a plastic smell, which I will just hang to air out and hope that does the trick.

I love this costume, as did my granddaughter. I recommend using Velcro to secure wings in open position. Easy to do.. It is so elegant, that the glitter and glitz may make it a tad itchy for sensitive girls (like my grand daughter). This was easily remedied by the wearing of a solid white crew neck shirt underneath. It held up well to numerous weariness and is now is the first costumed grabbed for dress up play!

Very cheaply made. The fabric is garbage quality. The photo looks beautiful the costume looks nothing like the photo! It will be getting returned! The sizing is awful! Don’t waste your money! It is also scratchy and the child will complain. I was lucky I purchased another costume from a much better store!

I’m so bummed !!! It was great but missing the most important part, THE WINGS!!!! Now she just looks like a flower girl or something, no time to send but either . I definitely want dang discount on this!
