Lovely item as gift and easy to make loads of pots fast
I like mine so much I sent one as a gift - 3 sizes included, like nesting dolls, the littlest one is great for sowing tiny seeds like tomatoes or lettuces separately so you don't have to prick them out. I make pots using Amazon brown paper and newspaper - super fast (a couple of hundred per evening).Comes in a sturdy box that I put the pot makers back in after use.Makes a lovely gift.

Pot maker
Brilliant idea saves all those plastic pots. Just use newspaper and make your own. Easy to use and to clean afterwards. Brilliant price

Simple and effective
It does the job and you are able to make three sizes of paper pot easily after a bit of practice. It's sturdy enough, but it's essentially four round pieces of wood - is it worth £12.99? Not sure, but it will be handy as I get some seedlings going.

It does what it says on the boxIt's a thumbs up from me and would advise anyone to buy this oneI've only used the large one at the minute as it's what I need right now but I will be using the smaller ones to prepare for next yearIt can be tedious but in the long run it will save you money and news papers are Biogradable and a lot better than the plastic seed pots

Environmentally friendly
Very good, easy to use. Brilliant alternative to buying plastic pots. No need to stir lots of pots, just make them as you go.

Easy to use
It makes three different size pots, each part is well made and should last a long time, when making a pot after you have the right size piece of paper, you wrap it around the chosen mould, but you need to keep it straight to make a decent pot, as you need some of the width overhanging the mould to form the bottom of the pots, it doesn't go to the top so a guide line would be useful to keep the paper straight, to speed the job up.

Worth money but instructions poor
I would recommend using 3 strips of paper together for a sturdier pot. Also make sure you leave a gap at top when rolling it, where wood shows through, or you will have trouble slipping the pot off the wood when finished. The instructions show the paper to be positioned flush with the top which is wrong because it's very difficult to remove the pot from the wooden cylinder unless you leave a gap. One design fault I feel is worth mentioning is they could do with a handle in the middle to make it easier to pull pot off wood, other brands have this handle but are more expensive. The instructions could be improved upon, they don't really tell you any of these things. I had to watch a Utube video to see where I was going wrong regards positioning of paper on tool as well as which way up is the top and bottom. The wood is good quality, all in all worth the money because you get 3 sizes when you compare price of just one size sold individually by other companies.

3 for 1
Comes on 3 different sizes. Very helpful when planting time is upon us. No more buying hundreds of peat pots. It's gonna be fun.

Well made, works well
Excellent. Choice of sizes is very convenient- and they stack together beautifully for storage.

Perfekt. Besser geht es nicht. Einfach super.
Einfach, praktisch, gut.

Pros and cons but for me now I won’t go back to anything else
I’ll start with the cons, it’s time consuming to cut and roll the pots, and that is the only issue.Pros, I can make as many pots as I need, I can make 3 sizes pots and when I need them, space saving item since I only need to store paper, I can easily see if my seedlings need water, if the paper start to dry out, add water! So for me there’s no way back to what I used before.
