So far so good
Early days but it works well. I will look forward to recapping my review in 6 months time.

Works as advertised
The dehumidifier was all that I had expected. There are 2 power levels and at the low level the machined worked well extracting water from the room as required. The cost of running the machine on the lower level was also cheap and as required. All in all a good purchase.

Good dehumidifier, with some questionable design choices
I've used Ecoair previously, they make great dehumidifiers, and this one is no exception. It pulls water out of the air at an impressive rate, and has enough settings for you to hone in to your needs. The first problem, however, arrives with setting the humidity level, which is made confusing due to a static circular display that goes from 70% RH to 35% RH, but uses water droplets to indicate the humidity steps along this range. Thus you have to memorise these, if you wish to set a certain humidity level, Why they didn't simply use % throughout, instead of a combination of % and water droplets, is beyond me, and makes this less ergonomic to use.The second problem, is the air outlet flap to the top of the dehumidifier, that you must remember to open when you turn it on (otherwise it may presumably overheat, and break). Why they just didn't make this mechanical, so that it automatically opens, and closes, with power on and power off seems like an unnecessary shortcut.Overall, I'm very happy with the dehumidifiers performance, but believe that the company have not brought their A game when it comes to the display, or the air outlet flap.
