Nice for families with children in school
If you have children like I do, they constantly are losing pencils at school or at home even with pencil boxes. or the problem of other kids borrowing or stealing pencils. I bought a bulk pack instead of buying 3 or 4 pencils at a time in a pack for $4 which can add up quickly. We all want to save money. The kids go back and forth with mechanical or regular pencils. I was even giving them money once or twice a week a $1 at a time to buy pencils out of the machine at school. Spend the money for the bulk pack and hide them from the kids so they don't use them all at once.Disclaimer I ordered this on Amazon and paid full price for it. Decreasing quality over time
Not going to lie, the quality is decreasing time over time.I just happen to had a pack from 2012 which it was the clear papermate pencils and the lead was a lot smoother and felt sturdy. With the new design, the lead was somewhat squeaky. I do appreciate the longer lead, but the comfort was lost.I also compared this to the BIC pencils that I had and BIC feels more ergonomic. However, lead pencils are lead pencils, and $2.50 for 48 of them are cheap enough. It works, it's decent, and it will last me a while.

The quantity you need, for a price you can afford
We (the four of us) as a family all use mechanical pencils, ergo we go through many throughout the year. The 48 count lasts several months. The quality is better than some "off brands" we've tried. 0.7 millimeter lead holds up, even with using a heavy hand. My only complaint, per se, is that the eraser could be a bit more pliable like on the fancier, refillable ones, which erase better than these. Nonetheless, for an every day pencil that everyone in the house can use, you can't beat it. The price is adventageous as well, in comparison to other stores. Overall, am pleased with the purchase.

Decent for use and toss
My Son decided this year that he wants to use nothing but mechanical pencils. These pencils are decent quality for the price I purchased them at (did get them on sale). The lead does seem to break pretty easily, however, I feel this has more to do with how hard my Son presses down when he writes. These were also cheap enough to just toss away when the lead runs out. I would recommend these for the younger kiddos (elementary school) and maybe in to middle school.

They are cheap pencils that write just fine.
Look, are these high quality top o'the line mechanical pencils? No, of course not. But they do the trick...AND...it doesn't matter how many of them your granddaughter (ok, MY granddaughter) loses, because they don't cost much and you (I) have a drawer full of them for her.I think they're great.

Twenty pencils for a great price. It's worth it
I tend to go through pencils a lot, since I write a lot of notes and misc. other writings. When I found these, they were actually being sold at a better price than another seller was, for a box of only four. Paper mate has made quality pencils in the past, and of what I've seen so far, they've kept up the tradition. So far, they've worked very well, and are comfortable to write with. Having twenty pencils also helps me to know I won't have to buy any more for awhile, even if I am able to share with others

Great for school!
Papermate pencils are one of my favorites because of the long leads and thin design. These came in perfect condition and write smoothly without breaking the lead, I got a bargain with these on here and they shipped fast. Most math classes require you to write in pencil and these lasted me through two semesters of calculus. They also work with scantrons as I have not had a problem with them and the erasers do the job cleanly. The pencils are not bulky so my hand does not cramp as easily when writing down notes or during exams.

The leads are weak and break far too easily
The leads are junk. They are far too brittle and break too easily. Before I wrote this review, I tried another 0.5mm lead pencil which did not break. So with certainty, I can say that the leads in these pencils are terrible and not worth the cheap price. I wonder how many lead pieces flew into my coffee cup and got caught in my keyboard.

Amazingly fragile
They get the job done, but they're startlingly fragile. I kept them in the same pencil bag as the rest of my pens and pencils, and two of them broke within just a few days. The other mechanical pencils have been in there for months now.Mind, the rest of them have held up so far, so maybe those 2 started off bad. Also, the erasers are definitely of the "smudge" variety. That said, once you get them, they work just fine, for writing, anyway.

Surprisingly Good!
Naturally I was skeptical given the cheap price per unit. Thankfully, they exceeded expectations! Great value, fairly comfortable, and write just as well as any other mechanical pencil I've used. Awesome value.

Good Pencils
They work, eraser isn't bad. I would recommend buying lead bc it doesn't come with extra (other than what's already in the pencils). Cute colours and none were damaged.

Buen producto
A algunas piezas se les sale la parte de arriba constantemente, en especial a las de color verde.
