I have a cattle dog who gets a lot of activity daily, and when we come home she would practically swim in her water bowl, trying to cool down and quench her thirst. The way this automatic water dispenser is designed, it provides enough water for her to drink, but not enough to swim in haha.The design of this water fountain is well thought-out and looks great. Unlike some of the others I looked at, this water dispenser doesn't have a big fountain-spout thing that sticks out of the water; just a nice low-profile ramp that the fresh water gently spills from and into the water drinking area. The LED light is soooo convenient because I don't have to worry about the water bowl going empty without noticing. I like the dark blue color, very soothing and subtle. There is almost zero sound whatsoever from the pump which keeps the water flowing perfectly.There are a couple bigger-capacity dog water fountains on the market, but in my opinion they allow too much water to be sitting in a water dispenser for so long, past being truly fresh water. This MAILOFY dog fountain, with a little more than 2 gallons' capacity, is PERFECT.I highly recommend this MAILOFY dog water fountain for your bigger thirsty doggo!

Update: 3 months later it stopped working despite being vigilant on the cleaning/care of it! Its junk. Worst one I’ve ever bough! Looks good but that’s about it!It works as described but it is very hard to clean! I do have a lot of dogs and it may be better for someone with a couple but for me I have to take it apart almost daily! You can’t see how high the water is so it’s easy to overfill and leak on the floor. I personally wouldn’t buy it again.

This was a nice water fountain for my dog while it worked. I bought this the end of November and it lasted only 3 months and the pump stopped working. I changed the filters regularly and did not let it run dry. It is disappointing that it died in less than 3 months.To update this review...I was contacted by the seller and the offered to send a new pump. Great customer service and I am looking forward to receiving the new pump and using the fountain again.

I absolutely love this and so do my dogs 😊 Easy to clean and the light feature is so neat, letting you know when the water is low. Also living in town, I love the filter. It pulls all the chlorine out of my pets water. GREAT PRODUCT

Worked beautifully for a few weeks. Great capacity, easy to fill and clean. I kept it thoroughly clean, but the pump doesn't work anymore. It worked sporadically for a few days then quit altogether. I wouldn't have wasted my money if I knew it would only work for such a short period of time.

Item was not 2 gallon capacity as listed. It says 1.8 gallons on the box it came in. Challenging to assemble because the pump is placed randomly by trial and error to line up properly under the up-spout. It is completely quiet. And the light is very nice. It came with an extra filter that seems to be washable. Update: today is 2/22/2024, this watering fountain was delivered on 2/16/2024 I believe. It was so quiet you couldn’t hear it. Very nice that way. I’ve refilled it after thoroughly cleaning it on 2/19/2024 after the red refill light came on. It still had quite a bit of water in it so the heads up before it actually runs out is nice too. Now it’s getting close to where the red light will come on a second time. (Low but still has water in it and the light is still blue.) But I’m afraid it’s started making noise now. Buzzing and humming and gurgling. I will first try adding water to see if it quiets it down. Then whether it does or doesn’t, I will pour it out and clean it again. Once I refill it with it clean we shall see how it behaves. The two main reasons I purchased it was for the 2 gallon capacity and the low sound. I’ve lost the first reason already and now the second reason is in jeopardy. I will update again whether I return this item as defective or not.

This is a excellent product. I have a large dog and it keeps her in water all day. The height is perfect and it runs so quiet

This is great for a home with several dogs. This allows for a cleaner water supply option with less refilling. I thought it was supposed to have a light to warn you of low water, but mine just starts sputtering.
