Very smart cylindrical glass jars with fingerprint resistant bonded plastic outer and screw top plastic lid. This set of three (black) canisters each has a one litre capacity and measures 10cm (4") diameter and 17.5cm (6.75") tall. An elliptical cut out panel in the plastic outer allows contents to be easily seen.Each canister weighs 720g when empty and feels nicely balanced and solid in the hand. The screw top lid is well made.Each canister comfortably holds 40 - 60 teabags (will take 80 at a push).Will hold up to 250g coffee granules.Will hold up to 750g granulated sugar.A canister will also comfortably hold up to ten of the taller Kenco or similar brand Latte or Cappucino sachets, or the tall single sized sachets of hot chocolate drink.My other half has just said, "You didn't actually count and measure how many teabags and stuff you can put in one of them, did you?" Well, actually I did, for the purposes of this review.He is still looking at me with utter bewilderment. I guess I'll just have to take one for the team, in bringing you what I hope is useful review.All in all, this set of three canisters makes a smart addition to kitchen decor - they'll team up well with similar coloured small electric appliances on the worktop.Roomy enough to hold plenty of tea/coffee making essentials without the descriptive"Tea" "Coffee" "Sugar." signage, which I've always found a bit restrictive, as well as irritating, (but not as irritating as my significant Other), and will clean up well with just a wipe from a damp cloth.I don't think they'd appreciate being put through a dishwasher - I think the plastic bonded outer would suffer. Just like someone else I know who will, very shortly.

Hi, we needed four containers so had to buy six. We failed to get four satisfactory items from the six supplied so we arranged to send three back. We ordered thee more. However from the nine jars and lids we were only able to obtain 5 that we were entirely happy with. We have sent three back and retained six.I have included the photos of the finished installation of the four so you can see they look good. I have also provided images of the worst of the imperfections. You may think I am picky but I think they should be right. If they were from a pound store then they would be fine for the price.

Love these!Yes, they are perfect for your tea, coffee and sugar. However, they do not have the usual 'tea, coffee, sugar' wrote on them - meaning you could use them for a variety of things. There is a clear window so you can see what is in them which could be placed at the back if you didn't want the products on show.The size of each is approx Height 18 cm x Width 10 cm x Depth 10 cm.They have a screw on, air tight seal to keep things fresh.They are very durable.The outer cylinder is removable which makes it easy to clean the cylinder and the glass canisters inside.They are funky and stylish. Love these! I have pink and green. Green is for tea, coffee and sugar. Pink was supposed to be for pasta and rice, but now filled with pet treats. I definitely want the blue set now! Unfortunately I dropped one of the pink and the lid has a dent (but hardly noticeable), and one of the green lids could do with a bit of glue, as the metal exterior comes off some times. But when considering the price, I can’t complain!!

Not quite what I expected. These are glass jars with metal wrapped around the outside, so the bottom is the glass showing and you can see this when looking at it on a shelf, if you know to look. It's stuck on well though so I don't expect it to fall off. The lid, however, is the thin, coloured metal with a plastic thread glued to it for screwing it onto the glass jar. It feels a bit cheap. Still, they weren't the most expensive jars so that's all ok, assuming they last.What knocked a star off, is that the metal enamel is chipped on one lid and the metal jacket on one is 3mm below the lip of the glass jar. If all 3 are next to each other, this is really noticeable.

I love these canisters! They really are gorgeous, a vivid blue protective metal shell containing strong glass containers with the metal lids screwing onto the glass container. I see there have been some criticisms about them having screw tops and being difficult to close, but honestly I have not found this to be the case at all and I think they close easily. They are also a decent size for a kitchen canister. They arrived early and were well and safely packaged and I think they are excellent value for the price.

Worth every penny. They are heavy and sturdy. The jar itself is made of solid glass. The screw lid is metal and the whole jar has a covering the same. I'm finding that fingerprints are not an issue unlike my previous set of canisters. Easy to clean with soapy water. I much prefer the window type of canister as my previous set had the lettering wear off.

I bought these storage jars because i love that they are just one colour in black, I’ve bought from premier housewares many times and i know every purchase I’ve made have been a great purchase, so when these arrived i was not disappointed. I would recommend these storage jars.
