I needed a high quality tamper and this one did just the trick. Heavy duty and solid materials, matches well with the rest of the espresso bar, easy to adjust the depth, and I love the rings it leaves in the espresso puck!

This is my first tamper outside of the one that came with my espresso maker. Overall, it has greatly improved my shot making process, improving the flavor of my shots. Overall, the product is very nice and would highly recommend it if you are interested in the product. I did have one slight defect where it feels a little loose when tampering but this has been addressed and the company was very responsive and as is I am still happy with the service still.

The product design is very good! But after only 10 days of use, the wood started to crack! I am disappointed! I hope the seller will reply to me!

Recently got a Breville espresso machine and wanted to upgraded a few tools. This tamper is a real upgrade than the basic one you get with a Breville machine. It's built very well and has a nice sturdy weight to it and is adjustable.

This is a very well made and engineered tool. Will provide years of use. It does its job very well. Evenly tampers the grounds and looks almost like a work of art (for espresso lovers at least!).

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this because I wanted to make sure I get a nice flat tamp every time. If this is what you want too, DO NOT BUY this tamper. Out of the box, I was really impressed by the weight of this thing. The handle is nice and it felt like it would be a great tamper. Then I tested it and it all went downhill from there. Checking with an empty portafilter, it's obvious that this tamper is terribly made. The tolerances are so large that you can easily feel the tamper rocking from side to side and there is no way you'd get a consistently flat tamp.I didn't even bother trying it with coffee grounds -- it immediately went back into the box for a returnEDIT: even though the tamper is bad, the seller is top notch. As soon as this review went live, the seller contacted me to offer a full refund as well as another item for my troubles. I still stand by my review though. There are plenty of tampers to try and until the manufacturer tightens up their tolerances, I'd stay away from this one.EDIT EDIT: Uploaded a short vid showing the amount of slop

The tamper is directly connected to the handle. So there is no spring loading of the tamper pressure, which defeats the purpose of the spring loading. So really only provides a tamper depth setting! Needs a complete redesign!
