00 for just 1 pair seemed like an insane thing to do
Bought these for my first solo trip to Costa Rica.I'm a bargain hunter and tend to buy my boxers from Primark or Marks, I think the generally men don’t spend much on our underwear compared to women, so parting with £22.00 for just 1 pair seemed like an insane thing to do.I bought this due to the anti-bacterial properties of Merino wool. When sweating the fabric soaks it up and disinfects which kills any odour. This means you can pretty much wear the same pair of underwear 4 days straight or even longer without any issue and not feel "dirty" doing so. Ideal when traveling light. Like any fabric it has it's limits and the longest I went without washing them was after 2 days of constant use and hiking which I think was more psychological than anything else.Value for money, still quite expensive to pay for underwear, however it's very comfy. The material feels really good, the fit is spot on and secures everything down below. Sweat is minimal in hot weather and long hikes and the stretch on the waist band has maintained itself after 4 months of use and plenty of washing machine cycles. All in all this is a very good product.I would probably buy more if they did a multipack deal.

Excellent
My first impressions were not good, because the waistband looked very small, I thought I would need a bigger size although I had ordered my usual size, and the material seemed a little scratchy, not what you want around your sensitive bits. However after a couple of hours wear I changed my mind completely. The waistband looks small but actually fits correctly, no discomfort at all. The scratchiness disappeared and amazingly I couldn't tell I was wearing them, they obviously regulate temperature really well and the design is really comfortable. The denim blue colour looks good, and these are definitely massively superior to cotton or synthetic boxer briefs. My only gripe is a small one, I wish the legs were a bit longer, I prefer boxer briefs with about 6 inch inseam

Over priced underwear made in China
These trunks are ok but wouldn’t pay £20+ for a pair again. Indeed, merino wool manages sweat much better and generally they are more comfortable than cotton. However, after the first wash they started pilling and are made in China. Would also recommend going a size up if you don’t like your underwear super tight.

Short and tight on leg
These boxers would be the best apart from 2 things1: the legs are a little too short.. constantly feel like they've ridden up into the dark recesses2: I'm a big guy with hefty thighs I train a lot and these can feel like they're cutting of blood flow after awhileIf the manufacturers made them slightly longer and wider in leg I'd never buy another brand again

Waste of money.
Very thin fabrick. Not giving any warm. It's not even wool in my opinion. It's overpriced and you can not return. Strongly not recommending.

Comfortable and long lasting
I first bought a pair of these to try for cycle touring and was so impressed have subsequently bought quite a few more. I've worn these on cycle tours and more recently day in day out when working as a cycle trainer (clean pair each day lol) . Combined with shorts they are perfect for both types of cycling. They'll happily go several days without getting too smelly and for me at leat are insanely comfortable. What prompted me to write the review, was that one pair has started to develop a hole on the leg. Out of interest I thought I'd check how old they were. Turns out that particular pair has had six years of use, at least once a week over several years, and only now are they fraying. £22 might seem expensive, but these things last and are well worth it.

Comfortable, durable and odour free - worth the price tag.
I bought these last year as part of my equipment for long distance hiking, travelling light I bought 2 pairs but mainly only used 1 pair and swapped occasionally but mainly using the other as an "in case of emergency" pair.I hiked over 1100 miles in 3 months and only at around the 1000 mile mark did I start to get any noteworthy wear and tear in them - they started to wear thin between the legs which resulted in chafing but considering that I was able to basically hike 1000 miles in them before any chafing occurred, I'd say that it's a pretty reasonable time to have to replace them. They are very comfortable, they don't smell at all and they wick away moisture well. Would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to gear up for a long distance hike - I'll be purchasing more for that reason in future.

Treat yourself with merino wool
A little, tiny bit tighter than expected (my beloved smartwool) but nevertheless all the qualities of the finest merino wool.Wonderfully fitting (really good cut), and very nice to the skin. I use it only as a base under the rest of my motorcycle gear but every now and then I think I should treat myself and throw out every other boxers I have and simply buy more of these. They're great in general and awesome whenever you think you will sweat.Dooo-it! Try once, you'll see why I love them.
