These locks work very, very well for pinball and arcade coin doors. No keys to misplace! Easy to change combo by pushing in the pin on the side. No instructions necessary. Easy installation. Buying additional sets after great success with the first three. Don’t understand the less-than-positive reviews.

Complete waste of money. No instructions enclosed. Cannot change combination. Very frustrated that I purchased this item.

Installed this on my mailbox outdoors, super easy installation, looks great, and opens smoothly.

I might have more experience then those that don't like this lock. Yes, the threaded part that goes through the door is only 1/2 in. If your door is greater then 1/2 in this lock will not work. That's not a limitation of the lock - that is what the lock is. The factory combo is 000. There is a small "button" on the side that, when you press in when the lock is "open" you then can reset the combo to any number you want. This is standard with any lock you can reset the combo and can be found by a simple google search. Yes, directions should have been included but come on people help yourself.

The positives arrived on time, easy installation, works as advertised.The only negative and it's a big one, is the rubber o-ring. It leaves black marks on your fingers whenever you turn it, like you've been playing with the tip of a Sharpie marker and nearly as hard to get off your fingers. Ended up removing rubber o-rings.😠

So many ignorant, misguided snowflakes. Accountability is what is lacking in today's world. I have purchased these same locks from multiple sellers and are excellent for their intended purpose. I was looking for somewhere to order some more and came across the reviews for this item and thanks to Amazon(now offering more than just low prices and fast delivery) couldn't help but realize a reoccurring trend from the individuals leaving negative reviews. These fine individuals cearly do not have an iota of common sense. The measurements are clearly in the photo(no excuses from you visual people.) Would you order a size extra small shirt and expect it to fit a 400 pound guy that undoubtedly wears a xxxxl only learn the shirt will definitely not fit upon being tried on...then speak negatively about the shirt or seller for something that was clearly nobody's fault but their own? Common sense and accountability.... We are doomed.

Ordered these to replace the key locks for the storage on my camping trailer. I ordered the 7/8" post, however it is just long enough for the panels. The 9/8" post length might have been a better option.Installation was simple, and the mechanism feels sturdy. It has only been a few weeks since installation, so I cannot comment on how weatherproof these locks will be. Had a few good downpours and no leaks

Great locks and versitile. Very intuituve to install. Used on a gun cabinate and did away with keys, bonus. Only issue is the numbers are hard to see even with my glasses on. If your eyes are old like mine you may find that a bit frustrating. The skinny, the lock is solid, versitile and practical. If you have a setup that uses a key this will replace with drop in fit. Just watch for lock style as there are short & long versions.

I installed these locks on my camper, they are really nice. They are are proper size and easily work on the bay doors. I really like these locks, and it's nice not to have fumble looking for keys. Glad I bought these.
