It sticks out a little too far from the door pocket for mine or my passengers comfort, but it does work. The top slides up and off very easily, which could be good or bad in your case. The lid over the trash side is a little sticky, it sometimes takes some effort to open, and it closes very slowly.

I used this with my Nissan Sentra 2016. Fortunately, my car has enough space between the door and the seat that it will fit in the area to the left of your butt. By doing it like this, I don't have any issues with the garbage can taking up my legroom or causing discomfort.I don't think the garbage can was designed to go there, because I had to bend the tab quite forcefully to make it clip on, but it works.Regular size garbage bags that you reuse from grocery stores are way too big for this. I use dog waste bags, since they're the perfect size and are a little more durable.The cupholder won't hold larger plastic coffee cups, but it's good enough to tuck away a can until you can get to a gas station and empty it.Overall, I'd recommend this if you have enough space in the gap between your seat and your car door. I would not use this if it interfered with my legroom.

This is a well built self contained trash bin. It tucks neatly and securely onto the door side bin. You don't have to take it off again to empty it. There is a neat cover and door that you just lift off and you can empty the garbage. I suggest using a small plastic bag such as a compost bag or supermarket vegetable bag to line the bin so you can just throw it out easily when you need to empty it. The water bottle holder and trash lid are a nice feature of this bin. It seems to be made out of sturdy materials and clips on to the door well and is quite secure.The only thing is that there is a bit of legroom that it will take up and it is a bit small capacity. I am thinking the manufacturer had to compromise on capacity and allowing it to fit properly on the door. Also it was a bit hard to install and clip on the door. It is best to install with the cover off then reattach the cover once it is clipped to the door. It is simple and functional.
