Dr Idz,In 4 days I have managed to read your book despite my long shifts! Every time I read a page I find myself reading more and more, could not help it not to finish it… believe it or not, I wish there will be more books to enrich my knowledge in nutrition. Absolutely loved this book.
Amazing book, great read and it’ just flowed. Unlike other books where you get confused after every couple of paragraphs and have to start googling things, never once had to do that with this book. Everything was explained so well. I loved that everything was backed up with scientific evidence. Good explanation of the different types of studies as well. I also liked the fact that with so much information out there, I felt so reassured about some of these myths and can now happily debunk them and not be so worried about what I am eating. I now have a better understanding of what foods I should be eating and why and also what foods to avoid. It all just makes total sense after reading this book.

Disappointed!
I bought this book as a present because the description made it sound as though it was factual but still an easy, chatty sort of read but when I had a quick flip through I was disappointed to see that the style was just very factual and then on to the next topic etc. returned it and got a refund and bought another present instead

One of best things I have read
I’ve read this book in a day, brilliant read if you would like to know the truth behind the latest treads it conveys to the reader the truth and know the evidence behind the latest fades and actually supports it. I couldn’t put it down it’s opened my eyes. This book will open up doors and change your life!

Fantastic book!
I’ve read stacks of nutrition/diet books in the past but this one rises to the top of the collection.Very concise and to the point with just enough science and data to back up every point.Really good book for nutritionists, personal trainers or anyone looking to learn how to lose weight and live a healthy life successfully.

Fantastic scientifically backed book!
I'm about 2/3s of the way through the book and I only got it yesterday! I can't put the book down. Extremely well written, informative, pithy sections loaded with scientific references. Almost 400 references for a 200 page book is unheard of.The sections on diet and inflammation, the science of obesity and the gut microbiome are my favourite. I've genuinely learnt so much from Dr Idz and I can't thank him enough for writing this book. I will use this as my nutritional guide for myself and my clients moving forward.
