Excellent book for those interested in understanding just how difficult it is to solve a cold case. This book takes you through various stories and different professionals' ways of how they came about solving their particular case. It reads like a "who dunnit" while incorporating interesting facts about each case from those working or trying to get the information or lead.Each of the chapters is easy to get through and it is good bedtime reading IMO. Nothing too graphic, more mental in nature.

A must for any current or prospective death investigator. Excellent case reviews of infamous, and more importantly, obscure homicides.This book also introduces the reader to the current generation of cold case experts: Safarik, de Sturler, Ferguson, Ryan and Meoli, to name a few.David Paul, Co-author of Unearthing a Serial Killer
