29104575 Heating Element for Char-Broil Patio Bistro TRU-Infrared Electric Grill Replacement Parts 16601559, 16601578, 16601688, 20602107, 20602108, 20602109

This fits perfectly and saved me from having to buy a similar grill that doesn't have any side tables (why don't they sell this anymore). The connections are hidden underneath some plastic covers and I had to remove screws in these as well as the metal "bowl" inside the grill. The main issue was that I needed 9 mm small wrench (many metric kits skip the odd sizes -- I found) and my sockets wouldn't fit. There are similarly several small nuts (can't remember the size) that aren't too accessible. Everything worked fine when put back together and I'm happy wit the heat level.

My Char-broil grill started tripping the GFCI outlet, so after testing the outlet multiple ways, I took a shot & decided to replace the element. The install is a little challenging, as you need to extend the mounting slots on the lower half. I saw other reviews that mentioned this, but I went for it anyway. All went well & the grill is now back in use. Hopefully this element will last another 3 years.

Finally got around to installing this heating element and it did not fit (too big). It's past the refund time limit so I guess I have to eat the money.

This absolutely DOES NOT FIT the char-broil tru infrared heating element 20602107-01.It's TOO wide the screws DO NOT line up.
