Lovely kit.
Lovely friendship bracelet making kit. Everything you need is included and it can all be stored inside the box between uses which is helpful, keeping it all together and neatly stored away. A fab gift for a child as it is an entertaining and engaging activity, creative too, with lovely end products- the bracelets, giving a sense of accomplishment. Recommend.

Lovely gift or stocking filler.
This Braiding Friendship Bracelet making set will make a lovely gift. My granddaughter and all her friends love to make jewelry and swap or sell to each other and this will make a lovely addition to her ever growing jewelry making kits.I did find it incredibly hard to open the case and I was a bit concerned I would break the clasp, but it survived my brutish attempts after about 10 minutes of trying. The set itself is lovely and comes with detailed instructions that my granddaughter could probably teach me how to use!Inside the box are 33 pegs and everything you need to get started.

Clear Instructions and Fun To Make! (Requires Glue!)
My 4-year-old loves bracelets and I'm always looking for things to do that reduces screen time so this was a solid get.Full disclosure, I'm a dad with very little creative talent so initially I thought I'd struggle with this but the instructions were clear enough for me to follow successfully. I will say that it's highly unlikely that a 4-year-old would be able to follow the instructions so it will definitely be an observational/teaching job if buying for a young child. On average, I'd take between 10-15 minutes to complete each bracelet. However, a word of warning is that need glue to finish off the bracelet so it doesn't unravel. I think fabric glue would be the one to use here as I only had super glue and it obviously never left a great finish. The instructions cover 10 different designs; the three I've completed so far all involved a single piece of string but there are ones that involve two, I'm just not that advanced yet! There are plenty of colours of string and elastic to choose from too. You don't have to use the entire length of string either, you can stop the design short to fit any wrist size, although it will require doubling up the elastic at the end to keep it tight. At the time of review, this kit £9.89 and for that price you really can't go wrong, I think this is a great gift!

Treasure these bracelets, it's hard work
Hard work, got this for my nieces but gave it a go myself. I have to say if you get one of these friendship bracelets then you better be a best friend forever cause these take a lot of patience to make! I couldn't get my head around the written instructions but the pictures were more helpful. The bracelets are worked over a long loop of elastic which is held on the board with little pegs. Each design has a particular sequence of winding or knotting the threads but once you get the technique down it gets much easier to finish the bracelet. The thread that comes with the set is smooth and shiny although it would also work well with embroidery floss. Can't argue for the price, fun activity for the kids and a new skill to learn and share with friends.

Great quality and loads included
The media could not be loaded. The video goes into much more detail, including a full overview of everything you get and the quality of the plastic. However, in a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Very solidly made.+ Loads of accessories and ropes included.+ Great, clear instructions (even if the text is very small).Things I didn't like:- Very girl-heavy on the marketing - this might or might not bother you, but is probably important that you know so you can make the choice for yourself.Do I recommend it?Yes. Great quality. It does depend on the price, but I'd imagine anything up to about £15 would be fair for this.

Includes a lot
Got this as a gift for my daughter who is only 5 so it was abit fiddly for her, probably aimed at older kids. However we had fun choosing the colours and patterns to try. There’s lots of threads to choose from so I imagine you can make quite a few. It will keep the kids busy for quite a while
