Kinda Fun, Kinda Gimmicky
These are kind of fun but also a little gimmicky. The target market is likely not going to be true card player fans or poker guys. I see these as a fun deck for kids 5-16 and maybe lovers of all cards games that just wanna play with a fun deck every once in awhile. The Cool in a Can games is a great concept and the cards and container of of nice quality. The coaster have a great sticky rubber bottom that's gonna stay put which is nice but the disc ball topper is already starting to peel on the edges as pictured.I was skeptical that this deck of cards would be easy to shuffle but they actually aren't much different than a normal deck. The cards are brand new and are having a dendancy to stick together that I would hope gets better as the cards get more broken in.The only other thing I would say about these is that I could see how playing card games that require a bunch of cards being in your hand will be harder as the cards are a bit wider than a normal deck.As someone that doesn't have a kid that is of card playing age yet and that doesn't play card games that often I can't really see myself picking this deck over one of our standard decks. The product is of above average quality and I do think there is a niche market. Just make sure you are in that niche!

An Interesting Party Novelty
This disco-ball themed playing card and coaster set is a fun item for card night. It's neat having coasters that match your cards. There are some drawbacks, though.I've seen round playing cards before and thought that they would be difficult to shuffle, but it turns out that this concern was unfounded. These round cards might actually be easier to shuffle than rectangular ones. I did note some cosmetic issues on the card faces, but these were just some slight discolorations. The card backs were all without issue, which is more important for play than the faces. All 52 standard cards plus two jokers were present on delivery, plus a card promoting the company's website. They feel good in the hand, and it's easy to see your cards when holding them such that they overlap. The coasters are the snag. The disco-ball applique covering the main silicone (I think they're silicone) part of the coaster is very small compared to the surface area of the coaster. This makes them look much less attractive than the cards. Additionally, the coasters adhere to condensation. When you go to pick up your glass, the coaster comes with it if any condensation has formed. And if no condensation has formed, then you don't need a coaster. They hold up well to moisture, though. The can is sturdy, so it travels better than a box of cards. However, it's also made to accommodate the coasters, so it's much bigger than a box of cards, which isn't a great trade-off since I don't know where I'd need to bring my cards that I'd also need to bring my coasters. All in all, the cards are good, but the coasters aren't great.

Thin but oddly sturdy
The media could not be loaded. The cards are easy to hold and have great visibility when sorting your hand. They're kind of thin but seem to have some kind of extra protective coating on them that makes them feel more sturdy. The coating also makes them feel more tacky than other brand new sets of playing cards. They don't slide or glide nicely against each other. The quality of the coasters leaves something to be desired. They are just slabs of rubber with a shiny sticker slapped onto them. This is actually okay by me. These are great for driving in campers/RVs because the bottoms are ridiculously grippy and I won't cry if I lose one on a trip. In this case they might be better without the stickers to also grip the bottom of the cups. My family is a big card playing family, so I look forward to grabbing and going with these without worrying about the edges being dinged up in my purse or car (then forever knowing the value of said dinged card). For the concept of travel cards, I think these are an A+. I can't really give five stars though considering that the stickers on the coasters are curled up fresh from the tin, never used. I don't have high hopes for those, but I like the cards.

Cool in a Can
This is a cool set. I love the novelty of the round cards. I don’t think I would frequently use them instead of the classic size and shape, but I do think they are a very fun set to pull out with the right crowd. The shine is entertaining, and the cards seem well-made.The coasters set feels like an unusual inclusion to me, but the more I think about it, the more I can imagine pulling the cards and coasters out with a small group to roll with the theme. I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the coasters, though. They might hold up better than I expect over time, but they are basically a soft neoprene/foam with a white sticker on back and a mirror ball sticker on top.The container is nice, and I love the protection it affords. I don’t like that it was designed with a thick, foam, space filler piece to fill the empty space. It feels like this set was meant to be cards and the coasters/oversize can were added to help the set feel more robust. The bottom line in my mind is that most people will buy this set for the novelty cards, and I think it is a terrific set from that perspective. Despite the aspects I may nitpick, I am pleased and I think most other people will be.

Fun alternative for card nights!
My Mother loved these unique cards. Her and her friends get together often for card nights and these will define a conversation starter. They are made with a regular card weight paper and the deck is complete.Unique find for card players and enthusiasts.

Cute addition to my 70's exhibit
We have an upcoming marketing exhibit and the vendors are expected to participate in the theme. The theme is 1970s. We got disco ball like mylar balloons, outfits to wear, and a few other miscellaneous items like these coasters and cards. The coasters are rubber with paper labels and may not last with sweaty cups. The playing cards are really unique. I have never seen round cards before. They are certainly a fun factor, but they can be difficult to hold. Overall I think they will give our booth the look we are going for.
