Purchased this (required) book for a DNP Healthcare Finance course. It is easy to read. Nice that the author is a DNP - and so presents the content from that perspecitve. Provides practical advice for aspiring DNP nurse leaders in any healthcare environment.

Excellent and informative, very current and applicable. I needed this years ago when I first started as a manager in a hospital

Can't see the page numbers
Unless this is for leisure reading, I probably wouldn't rent this electronically since you are probably trying to document your page number in the references. The alternative was incredibly expensive but I will go that route next time to save myself the headache of avoiding this book as a reference. And get ready for insurance, legal, and rules. Oh my.

Every chapter in this book gave me new knowledge on budgeting, financial statements, margins and values on running a health care business or a personal business. I really enjoyed reading this text.
