Q: Please could anyone tell me if the soles of these kung fu slippers are flexible?

Yes the soles are quite flexible, but a little bit of firmness required for my Tai Chi training. The shoes are very comfortable and well worth the price.

Q: I wear a UK size 8 should I go up a size to size 9

Size 9 will be too big for you. If your feet are too big, you can choose size 8.5; if your feet are too small, choose size 7.5.
