Squirrel Feeder Upgrade
We put up a simple board for our backyard squirrels to perch while they dined on our fruits and nuts in the backyard. When we saw this, we decided to upgrade their "dining area". It took a little bit of doing to assemble the unit as not all the parts fits perfectly together but for our purposes, we didn't mind (and I don't think the squirrels mind it either). The pieces are sturdy. Since we recently put this up, we're not sure how it will survive the winds and rain of the winter. But for now, it's doing well. Our squirrels are slowly getting used to this new feeder. They don't have to scavenge as much for their food and we can leave more nuts for them without worrying about having them knocked off the board and cluttering the garden. This is definitely a fun type piece for the garden and provides entertainment for us and the squirrels.

Why is this not in your yard already?
Assembly was pretty straightforward. While there is an included screwdriver, a larger one does make it easier. I could nitpick on slight issues like some parts aren’t exactly even (I'm really picky) and were slightly challenging to get aligned. In the end it assembled and, really, none of those minor details matter. It goes together and can attach to a tree, bench, porch, pole, or anywhere that you can see. It’s easy to fill and then watch the action. That is what really matters. The wood is thick, doesn’t smell like chemicals, and the design looks good. No, hang on a sec, it looks great. The tiny, insignificant, little details I could point out aren’t as important as having a magnificent nut bar such as this for squirrels and a few friends of the flying feathered variety. Probably the most important detail is what to name it. While it does include a name plate with the manufacturer’s name, that just doesn’t quite do this justice. That piece can be reversed without any significant impact. With that in mind and evaluating nearly a dozen fonts as examples, I finally found one that did justice to this fine piece of engineering. I was inspired by the great American Diner concept. While this establishment would serve only the finest selection of nuts for our patrons, the most important detail was in the naming. With all businesses, whether feeding humans or our fine, furry or feathered friends, the right name can mean success…or failure. With that, there was only one option that could be used to name this fine establishment.

Nice looking piece but not easy to assemble.
I used to put sunflower seeds in a couple of containers on my patio to feed squirrels, so I got this "Nut Bar" to add something nicer and accomplish the same. The bar looks great and serves its purpose. However, I wanted something easier to assemble since the instructions were confusing and not great.I'm curious to know how long it will last outside. Time will tell.

So Cute but So Hard to Assemble!
I have always wanted to give our squirrels a special place to chow down and this little picnic hanger seemed like the perfect way to do it! I have mixed feelings about this product. Overall, I think it is going to serve its intended purpose well, but the effort to get there has been more than it should have been. The directions for this are not correct. The hardware and quantities do not match. My set came with 3 sizes of screws (long, medium, short), but the instructions have 2 sizes. Medium and long. I chose the incorrect screw size for the initial steps and it resulted in me having to take this apart and reassemble Step 2. I recommend using the shortest screws provided for the seats, otherwise they are not secure and spin. I made it through the next steps and then at Step 6, needed to disassemble again because I reversed the sides at Step 3. It was my fault, but the pieces are not labeled so it was easy to flip them if you aren’t paying close attention. Step 7 to attach the hinges was not applicable, mine came preassembled, however if you line up the screw holes, the top does not hinge closed (see photo). Additionally, the screwdriver that came with the set for assembly does not fit the hinge screws, so, until I find a way to remove and relocate the hinge it is not flush as you can see in the photos. All that said, I think the final product once assembled is adorable, durable, sturdy, and my squirrels will love it, I just wish it was easier to assemble.

It's not perfect, but it's still the coolest feeder I've ever seen!
First off, you should know this real actual wood, not particle board. That lovely wood smell hits your nose as soon as you open the package. I personally did not find the assembly to be too difficult, and there were no rough edges or splinters. If I had to nitpick, I noticed the top lid is mounted too low and prohibits the lid fully closing. Also, one of the long mounting screws was not usable, but those are things I can easily remedy myself.Overall, this a sturdy feeder that should last a long time.

Great gift
This is adorable! It would make a great gift for the nature-lover in your life, but it's also just a fun item to have in your yard. I'm impressed with the materials, though the assembly process could've been smoother. Once put together, this is such a neat item. I really like it!

The Squirrel Feeder Experience
Introducing a squirrel feeder to our backyard has transformed it into a true sanctuary. Placed strategically by our living room window, it provides a front-row seat to the lively world of squirrels in the nearby tree. The experience of watching them is simply delightful. In my exploration for additional feeders, this one has set a high standard, and I'm willing to overlook the price for the overall joy and quality it brings.

Looks as pictured, works well.
This was not easy to assemble, because it didn't come with the right size screws and in all the right amounts. I ended up using some wood screws I had a home on hand. In place of the ones that were missing. Very sturdy once it was put together. Could have been a little less in price since it didn't have all the right hardware with it. Looks just as pictured once assembled. Decent size works great!

Very Cute
This was exactly as pictures. I love the material and it looks adorable. I wanted it for pretend play for preschool children rather than a squirrel feeder, and it works perfectly for that. It was also very easy to assemble. It came with the screwdriver included, though the instructions were slightly wrong in places and I think they need to be reevaluated. Mostly with the stools. The instructions say to use two of the same screws for each stool, when you should actually use one big and one small. You could also use two small ones, but there aren't enough small screw included.Overall, though, I'm very happy with the product.

Missing parts - Poorly made
I thought this was such a cute idea, execution and quality are terrible. There were missing screws, chips and dents in the wood, and pieces that aren't properly fitted for each other. The lid which was preinstalled doesn't close
