I've been purchasing the Playtex Women's 18 Hour Active Breathable Comfort Wireless Bra through Amazon for over 4.5 years and before that at stores such as Walmart, JC Penney, and military post exchanges. The name of the bra has changed over the years, but it still remains the most comfortable bra I have ever worn. I am a woman of a "certain age" and large-busted (38DDD). I was tired of wearing torturous underwire bras and wanted something I could comfortably wear through all my day's activities while still maintaining a modest silhouette. While checking out those bras that come in a clear plastic envelope hanging on a hook in that lower price section of the lingerie department, I came across this bra. I purchased it, wore it, and from that point on have worn no other bra.Granted, it's not sexy or pretty, but it does the job admirably! My sister thinks these bras look like a sports bra. Maybe they do, but I know that they wouldn't provide adequate support for me if I were to wear one during any sport involving running. I should also mention that this is NOT the type of bra that supports the breasts entirely through the cups and band that hooks around one's ribcage. A larger chested woman will find that the shoulder straps are necessary. Please have reasonable expectations if you should decide to purchase the Playtex Women's 18 Hour Active Breathable Comfort Wireless Bras.The bra also holds up well to regular laundering (cold water, delicate cycle). I have yet to have the elastic in these bras break down before I'm ready to retire it. I wear a bra once, and then it goes in the laundry, so the six that are in my current rotation are machined washed at least once a week.

I think the design of this bra is good. It has a stronger band under the breast as a support, which is a nice feature for a wireless bra. (I'm 36D/DD)However, it feels restrictive to me (but I usually wear a comfort bra) and it's just not the right fit for me since I am in between sizes. This is not the fault of the bra, it's just not the right one for me.It is a little bit scratchy (which I am sensitive to) but if it fit me the right way, I would not consider it a deal breaker and I would keep it. It certainly is a good value and looks well made. I was hoping that it would work for me.One other thing, it has a "natural" look. So if you are concerned that your nipples might show, this does not have much fabric to hide them; no padding at all.

I am a 42DD and have worn Playtex bras for probably 35 years. Most styles I have bought through the years have been comfortable but not perfect and after wearing a bra all day can’t wait to take it off. This style is different. I don’t even realize I am wearing a bra most of the time and the material seems to lessen the rash I usually get under my breasts. The price is excellent and the bra is perfect. Thank you Playtex!

This is the bra I've been wearing for years and finally found again. I had gone to JC Penney and a bra like this was tagged about $39.99. This one on Amazon was less than half that. I initially bought three but when I saw the quality I ordered two more. A good bra is hard to find so stock up!

I rarely write reviews, but the reviews of several bras on Amazon have helped me immensely in recent weeks so I’m sharing my thoughts. I am a true 34DDD in most bras, I have NEVER found wireless bras that work for me or look flattering. I typically don’t mind bras with underwire at all because I need the support. At the moment, however, I am 30 weeks pregnant and trying several wireless options for more comfort. This bra does the job, and the price is right. I appreciate the thicker straps, for additional support at the shoulder. It looks smooth under my clothes from the front, sides, and back. The stitching on the straps is slightly rough, so if that is something you know will bother you, maybe this isn’t the bra for you. For reference, I am now wearing a 38DD or DDD to accommodate my expanding ribs and belly. If you’re in between a cup or band size, you might consider sizing up or buying two sizes and returning one. Overall, I’d say this bra works for larger chested women and it is comparable to another $50+ wireless bra I just bought from Soma. Bras are expensive and I’m pleasantly surprised to find this one works and is much cheaper than what I normally spend.

Not as supportive as I would have liked.

From the time I tried it on, it was the most comfortable bra I’ve ever worn. It fits perfectly. Most other bras irritated my back because the hook & eye closures rubbed. This bra hasn’t irritated at all.

It's not a beautiful lacy number, but it's perfect for everyday t-shirt wear. I don't get the 4-boob look with this one. I can bend over, and everything stays put, no popping over the top or the sides. I bought a bunch at the same time a while back, and this is the one I'm coming back to.

Not really value for money, I have have given this item away to the charity shop after trying it for one day.

Lovely and comfortable, cool and really is easy to wear even in very hot weather. Nice wide straps give support and not ugly like some full support bras; would recommend but confused about wildly different prices for individual colours, seems unnecessary! However will buy again but stick to lower price colours

This is one of the most comfortable bras I have had. Unfortunately I haven’t found anywhere in the UK that stocks this bra. Thank goodness for Amazon!

Comfortable bra to wear straps do not slide down your shoulders either they stay in place

Es una prenda bien hecha y con calidad, las costuras son fuertes y la tela muy cómoda, da firmeza y sujeta bien la espalda, no se marcan gorditos. Lo compre para mi madre que siempre ha sido talla 40 y lo que me comentó es que lo siente justo y cuando se lo quita si le llega a marcar, lo que me lleva a pensar que las tallas vienen chicas pues se lo sujeta del primer broche. Quizá una talla más grande le hubiera quedado más cómoda. Por eso doy 4 estrellas.Actualización: La parte que queda por debajo del pecho y que da toda la vuelta a la espalda es decir la que indica si eres 40, 42, etc, es la que se marca y lastima, a media tarde mi mamá ya no lo aguanta, no se si viene mas chico en talla o es la hechura porque de la copa y los tirantes le queda bien, por esta razón no me atrevería a recomendar una talla más grande que te pueda quedar floja de arriba, dependería de la fisionomía de cada quien. Hasta medí a mi madre para confirmar que sea 40. 🤷🏻‍♀️Cambié a 2 estrellas por la cuestión de comodidad.
